set one month after the calamity at slateport, the cities of fortree and and lilycove are continuing their annual winter celebrations. using ice pokémon to temporarily create controlled winter landscapes, people and pokemon alike celebrate the season; however, this time, the festivities revolve around a charitable cause: fundraising for the displaced slateport survivors.[break][break]

you may witness an influx of ice-types while enjoying various celebrations such as the aurorus winter ball, contests of luck, limited new missions, a themed safari zone and more... we have to keep some of it a surprise, after all. but those with keen eyes may discover foreshadowing in the banner.[break][break]
