|lupe looks intimidating. a dark, brooding man with a handsome cut to his sculpt. yet noah's not deterred by bigger men. instead, it is the chorus of protestors outside the powerplant that strike the most fear in his heart. it's unnatural. unnatural to see such resistance pointed so squarely at one's tiny self.|
"feels bad." noah says, rubbing his bare arm. it's a little chilly inside. inside the sun-blind guts of the overgrown plant, the industrial innards are cold to the touch. "feels bad to displace these guys."
he points toward a sparking pillar of magnemites. their magnets stick to a jungle of cordage. wreaths of bolts and shackle their bodies in jagged rivers.
pulling out a pokéball, he casts out his diggersby. the large hare grins, patting its large stomach. "so, where are ya from, lupe?"
he leans in, whispering as if to hide his awkward lilt from the magnets.
"we're on a first name basis now, right?"
