[attr="class","thread"]he sees the glimpse of orange in the water before he feels the pull and recognises it immediately. "no no no!" he jerks back, taking the rod with him, not wanting the pokemon to cut the line with its pincers.

there's a bit too much strength with the action though, and the crab goes flying. landon watches with a sense of dread, only able to let out the breath he's been holding when the pokemon safely hits the sand, slightly dazed, but in one piece.

[attr="class","thread"]landon's tosses his second magikarp into the ocean, hook close behind. too focused on the movements of the water, he doesn't notice it until calder starts making a fuss. no one, thankfully, is there to see him jump when he notices the sudden presence. the greninja takes a seat on his other side, and calder's scrambling over his lap to try and get closer to the pokemon.

"seriously? cal—" he has to move to stop his rod from his hands, "calder!"

unfazed by the display, the greninja's tongue darts into the water to pull out a magikarp. catching the fish in its hands, it offers it to landon.

"uh, thanks?"
[break][break]
he eventually throws it back like he had his previous catches, and returns to his fishing. the greninja shows no intentions of leaving, and landon quietly accepts the company.
