distressed due to her conversation with fernando, Stormy Silph travels on rapidash to oldale town in an attempt to get to slateport. she meets @ryusuke and blows up at him, misdirecting her rage at herself and her brother. stormy admits she is attempting to get to slateport, and is told that she is making a mistake. stormy reluctantly catches a scyther. the pair part ways not long after.
following her encounter with ryusuke, Stormy Silph decides to try getting to slateport city via rusturf tunnel. truth is, she's hopelessly lost and without proper navigation, so she has no idea where she is. stormy meets @elinda as the powerful woman single-handedly takes out a band of wild pawniard. the two seem to bond, and elinda gives her a contact to get herself a pokenav. stormy catches a skarmory and camerupt. the pair travel to the nearest town and elinda gifts her a pokenav to keep in contact with her in the future.
after catching a skarmory, Stormy Silph uses the steel bird to fly to slateport city. she finds exactly what she hoped she wouldn't-- slateport under control of team rocket. due to her inexperience and lack of courage, stormy stays on the fringes. however, skarmory is too tired to fly her back to the mainland and she is stuck waiting for a ride pokemon. she meets @senri, a young man on the hunt for water-type and dragon-type pokemon. she reluctantly agrees to travel with him in the hopes he'll take her home. her rough and tough attitude rubs senri the wrong way, right before they are under attack by an angry gyarados and tentacruel. stormy almost drowns and her castform saves the day. the two make it to the mainland. they part ways but promise to stay in touch. something about senri has piqued stormy's interest.
Stormy Silph gets word of several ice-type pokemon related incidents. her mission takes her to route 119 near fortree city, where froslass attacks have been happening more and more frequently. she overhears Laurence Anderson speaking with another league member about taking control of the situation and driving away the froslass. she offers to help her new acquaintance, laurence, when his previous partner decides not to go through with the mission. the pair discover that the first generation of humans to colonize the area had driven away and murdered froslass in an attempt to claim land.
Stormy Silph takes her skarmory on a remote mission to shoal caves. she had been given a scavenger hunt mission from a nearby town and was encouraged to hunt for hidden treasure. she teams up with kyle lopez and the pair assist each other and they discover a hefty sum of money and items to evolve their team.
kim cole-essam sends Stormy Silph a message, requesting her presence in mauville city mall. stormy agrees, and the two talk and get to know one another. kim wishes to gain stormy's trust, and asks a little bit about her relationship with her brother and his partner on the council. stormy catches smeargle, litwick and chansey in the mall. the two arrange for a dinner date later on to continue the conversation.
following the slateport attack, reporters and council members work up a storm to host the wintertide open at the lilycove contest hall. although it seems like this is just a way to distract citizens from the devastating attack on slateport, it's a welcome distraction. stormy doesn't end up participating in the contest due to her team of fire-type pokemon for an ice-type event.. but she spectates for senri.
one week after the wintertide open, the aurorus winter ball opens up in lilycove city. there is food, drink, partying, and good conversation. Stormy Silph briefly meets up with FERNANDO SILPH, who gives her a whispered threat to be professional at this grand event. @elinda escorts stormy away, and stormy bumps into kim cole-essam. stormy sets off Chu-e Choi, a young rocket beast, mistakenly, over a couple of cream puffs. articuno appears near the end of the event, and stormy dips after seeing it due to the sheer cold it presented.
kim cole-essam once again calls for Stormy Silph's companionship, but this time it's mission related. a horde of jynx have been terrorizing the citizens of a village outside of fortree city. stormy meets him on route 119 to discuss tactics. the pair get separated in a sudden, suspicious snowstorm, and are given presents by jynx. they reluctantly follow their respective jynx to the rest of the group, reuniting. turns out, the jynx aren't really 'terrorizing' the villagers, they're giving them presents of leaves and mud and twig as a sign of thanks.
fortree city had been under attack by a mysterious monster in the blizzard. several civilians had gone missing the last couple of days and stormy offered to help out. Stormy Silph set off in the middle of the blizzard in search of evidence of dangerous pokemon. she stumbles upon a cave, and hears the terrifying roars of abomasnow inside. she takes control of the situation and enters the cave alone - leaving rapidash at the entrance. she finds an unconscious @doug along with a couple other civilians. Laurence Anderson comes to the rescue and his pokemon and her rapidash defeat the abomasnow and rescue the trapped civilians.
Stormy Silph finds herself in mt. chimney looking for fire-type pokemon. she comes across a couple of bandits trying to steal a delibird's sack. she fights them off with the help of @senri, who shows up out of the blue. senri and stormy offer to help the delibird get to the nearby town, and the bird reluctantly agrees.
Stormy Silph overhears an important mission from the league council and recklessly decides to go it alone. she flies skarmory to slateport once again now that she has a stronger team. unfortunately, she gets caught by a couple of rocket grunts and threatened. several more show up, including Chu-e Choi. stormy only meets @sarah and @geraldine. FERNANDO SILPH shows up in time to attempt to rescue stormy, to which her castform panics and causes a massive hurricane to help her escape by herself. the pair escape with help from FERNANDO SILPH's garchomp, salamence and charizard. stormy and him dive into a heated conversation about her stupidity and childishness and fernando leaves her behind, albeit not in danger anymore.
while not participating in the new years festivities, Stormy Silph witnesses a band of drunk, reckless teenagers set fire to a forest temple outside of petalburg city on route 104. she meets @mihai as he also witnesses this incident. the pair work together to try and stave off the fire and prevent it from spreading. stormy rushes into the flames to rescue a trapped civilian right before a squad of fire-fighting rangers show up to put out the fire.
following new years, more urgent missions crop up. Stormy Silph sits in on a request for help fending off an enraged drampa attacking the locals. she teams up with @marvelous2 to try and find the root of the problem. it appears that a drampa often visits and plays with the children and during one of it's visits a child was injured via unknown reasons. after the child was taken to a hospital, the drampa became enraged with worry, convinced the child had perished or been lost. after some help from ash and stormy, stormy was able to capture and subdue the enraged beast. she later finds out that the beast she caught was the offspring of a much, much more dangerous drampa.
a strange sickness has fallen on a couple of the citizens and pokemon in lilycove city. rumour has it it is the same sickness that once plagued lilycove in the past. it's up to Stormy Silph and cait alfric to hunt down the ingredients to cure a specific individual. cait and stormy seem to have incredible chemistry, and the young woman teaches stormy about plantlife and how to properly harvest specific herbs. the pair find the budew they're looking for in order to save the townspeople.
Stormy Silph meets Elias Thorn when they are assigned an odd job babysitting an old peach tree for a lovely old gay couple. they snoop through the couple's old photographs and scrapbooks to entertain themselves when the previously innocent-looking peach tree begins to show signs of being less than ordinary. as it turns out, a haunter has lived on the property for generations and befriended the couple. upon arriving, the haunter had apparently recently discovered two baby pokemon and was concerned that stormy and elias were dangerous. stormy convinces the haunter to let them take the baby pokemon under their wing. stormy adopts a cubone.
just like in lilycove a couple weeks ago, it seems that fortree city is under the same plague that hit the beautiful city she had visited with cait. she runs into Alexei Ivanov and his boyfriend. it appears the boyfriend has fallen ill to the sickness. she offers her help in locating a group of budew for the medicine's recipe.
Stormy Silph has recently applied registration and request papers to become the gym leader of lavaridge town. however, she has yet to receive any sort of answer regarding their decision - until she happens to eavesdrop on a conversation between FERNANDO SILPH and his fellow councilmen. the answer is simple, fernando doesn't agree that she should be in a position of power of any kind. stormy confronts him about this and is promptly told that she is weak, useless and incompetent.
cait alfric invites Stormy Silph to come to see her at the lilycove library - insisting it's urgent. when stormy arrives, she finds cait surrounded by books on the legendary birds. she encourages stormy that perhaps the only way to defeat team rocket is to win over the trust of kanto's gods. she insists that it's imperative that they find moltres as soon as possible if they are to stand a chance at driving team rocket back. their research takes them to mt. chimney on a hunch that someone there might know about the brief story they've read.
Stormy Silph and cait alfric are hired to help guard the mossdeep space center after the two have begun steadily climbing rank in the league. apparently, the space center is undergoing an important experiment involving a crystal similar to the ones found in the regirock raid. however, this experiment's intent is kept a secret from both of them. thanks to their efforts, the experiment is a success - but they are strictly told to not tell anyone about it.
Stormy Silph reunites with Elias Thorn near lavaridge town while she's out looking for fire-types to add to her team. she decides to travel with him for a time given how uncomfortable he seems to be with all of the falling ash and muck ruining his attire. she captures a heatmor. just as she is about to part ways with elias, stormy finds and rescues an injured and blinded vulpix. stormy and elias get into a fight just after, with elias insisting that he has to prove the league is good with his help.
Stormy Silph uses the free ticket she received from the generous delibird last month to gain access to the safari zone. she had heard rumours that the zone was filled with fire-type pokemon, and she was without a doubt going to take advantage of this. she meets and befriends a fiesty torchic, a gluttonous darumaka, and a sneezy, berry-loving tepig.
Stormy Silph finds an odd job posted by a real estate agent asking for help ridding an expensive mansion of ghosts. she calls cait alfric to come along with her for support, not realizing that her best friend is mortally afraid of ghosts. the two talk a bit about how their teams have grown, and chansey begins to develop a small crush on cait's sceptile. stormy finds nothing out of the ordinary even though something was definitely haunting the place, and the two leave without kicking any ghost butt.
Stormy Silph misinterprets cait alfric's dull texts for the past week or so as a sign she's done something to upset her. fortunately, cait invites her to come meet her at a park in lavaridge for a surprise. cait presents stormy with a charmeleon as a gift, and, overwhelmed by this act of kindness, stormy admits that she never thought she'd see a charizard line again. cait invites stormy to a battle to test out charmeleon's moves, but stormy freezes up midway through, clearly dealing with some ptsd.
Stormy Silph travels to sootopolis city after hearing it's a famous spot where trainers go to train against dragon-type pokemon. she brings her new charmeleon friend cait gifted her and meets freya morningstar, one of the league councilwomen. freya invites her to battle against her hakamo-o, and charmeleon wins. this is the first step in stormy's path to overcoming her fear.

Stormy Silph teams up with cait alfric to help the new gym leader clear out new mauville of pokemon using the city as their breeding ground. cait has plans to expand and build mauville up.
Stormy Silph has considered setting up a memorial for her fallen companion, torkoal, in mt. pyre. she runs across Laurence Anderson and his own personal memorial for his swampert.
Stormy Silph teams up with @lupefulton to investigate a pokemon that has been feasting on a pond of magikarp. they discover the culprit is an immensely overweight slaking. stormy is concerned for the intelligence of the officers in charge of the situation, but helps lupe in defeating it. lupe promptly captures the wild pokemon, and the two engage in conversation given their shared history.
Stormy Silph is invited to help fulfil a side fantasy of kim cole-essam's by filming an alien invasion scene.
Stormy Silph has been hard at work training a few of her pokemon at her gym when she is granted a surprise visit from ALEXANDER STONE. he brings good news: he has been chosen to be the temporary champion until a new one can be found. he also mentions that kyle lopez might be his successor for the rustboro gym. before heading to the hot springs for a relaxing evening before his days are overcome with work, alex challenges stormy to a battle as her first official challenger.
Stormy Silph gets a phone call from ALEXANDER STONE to help mossdeep city. stormy and cait investigate the basement of the space center, convinced there might be something important down there like there had been before. however, they are met with a completely vacated basement, there is no evidence that any experiments went on at all down there - not even the one cait and stormy had witnessed months ago. they run into two suspicious and arrogant scientists, but ultimately allow them to leave. big mistake.

Stormy Silph returns to lavaridge after a day of exploring and training, only to be ambushed by dorian westcliff. it seems that her previous run-in with Chu-e Choi all those months ago was not forgotten, and dorian plans to exact revenge on her... immature spat against the young man. she is taken to the upper district of slateport city where she is tortured with poisons and reminded of how her parents were killed. before she was kidnapped, she was on the phone with Laurence Anderson attempting to apologize and get together to talk about their feelings. he overhears her kidnapping and joins the charizard she left behind to try and rescue her.
Stormy Silph meets @delphi while offering assistance to a local farm. delphi talks about what happened at mossdeep, voicing her concerns that the gods might become angry with the war hoenn is facing. the pair bond over feeding torchics and talking about old legends.
