Nope.[break][break]

She wasn't standing at the night market. Alone. Phone in hand when she's been dressed up all nicely. She wasn't standing here, probably let alone by a friend who decided to play hooky on her. And she, definitely, was not glancing back at her phone, anxiously waiting for a reply since there were so many people around. With another person, with a friend or family, or anyone, even. She definitely wasn't alone, here. Hah. Hahah. She wasn't anxious. Nope. You're anxious, not her--[break][break]

She was totally anxious. [break][break]

What was more sad? The fact that she had her friend, Minnie, decided to set her up on Pokér, the next advancement in dating apps. Yes, dating apps. No matter how many times she told the woman to NOT, she couldn't help herself and convinced her to use the app at least once. By some stroke of luck, she started talking to a guy. Did she know what he looked like? Nope. Did she know what he sounded like? Nope. Did she know his name? Also nope. [break][break]

... She should have put more thought into this. [break][break]

She lets out a sigh in defeat, burying her face in her hand. What, so she dressed up to be stood up? It's been fifteen minutes, with no notice. And here she thought that the two of them would actually kick it off--[break][break]

She pauses, jade eyes glaring off into the crowd. A familiar face catches her attention, which is enough for her to internally freak out and die on the inside. It'd be embarrassing for her to be.. All dressed up for something like this, then explain? Just like, 'yeah, I got all nice only be stood up. You'? She'd sooner crawl into a hole and cry. Hence, she did the best thing she could think of, which was act. Natural. [break][break]

Natural, until her focus was on the other person to make sure he DIDN'T notice her. She wasn't looking where she was going and, unfortunately, she ended up walking into a trash bin, the edge of it literally jabbing her in the gut hard enough for her to let out a sputter. [break][break]

It wasn't too often that Blaine spent time at the night market, it wasn't that the man didn't enjoy the market he just didn't really hang out here all that often. For the most part Blaine was pretty tight with his money so a place where that money would be spent wasn't his ideal hang out spot. [break][break]

However he had recently come into a bit of extra money, nothing too important just a case that was solved super easily and paid pretty well. So that extra money was burning a bit of a hole in his pocket, the man wasn't sure what he wanted to spend it on so the markets wide variety was a pretty decent place to go to solve that issue. [break][break]

At the moment the man was wearing a dark brown shirt and a pair of black jeans, pretty casual clothes since he wasn't doing anything important. Aside from those he also had a shoulder holster on each shoulder.[break][break]

Instead of a weapon in either holster though they were modified to securely hold his pokeballs, three slots on the front of each one. Since he only had four pokemon though there were two balls in each holster so it would be even.[break][break]

Despite having planned to spend some money today Blaine had yet to actually buy anything in the night market, instead just walking around with his Pikachu following behind him. Occasionally a bit of attention was drawn over in the man's direction due to his Pikachu having a pipe in its mouth, no smoke seeming to come out of the pipe at all though.[break][break]

It wasn't too much longer until his plans to just blow some money would change, as he was walking along Blaine heard what sounded like someone sputtering behind him. Curious as to what the random noise was about he glanced over his shoulder to see a familiar face right at the edge of a trash can. Did she walk into it or something?[break][break]

Raising an eyebrow in confusion Blaine decided to make his way over to where Miya was, raising a hand up to scratch at the back of his neck. "You alright?" He simply blurted out kind of quietly, not trying to draw more attention to what might of been an embarrassing moment for his friend.

Natural. [break][break]

She was trying to be perfectly natural. As natural as bumping into the trashcan might have been, that is. The woman immediately jerks back, holding her stomach gently while letting out a soft wheeze. "Smooth, Miya.." She quietly grumbles to herself, winced and slightly crouched over to try and compose herself. Though she was doing her best, it would appear as though "her best" wasn't enough. She didn't know what she was; fortunate enough not to fall into the trashcan, or unfortunate to walk into it in the first place. [break][break]

Most of the time, she would have walked out wearing something more.. semi-formal. She would have worn less skirts, less frills or anything of the sort - but tonight, she actually went through the trouble of wearing something else. A pair of denim shorts, tucked in, loose shirt that had loose sleeves down her arms. No hat this time, even though she preferred to wear caps. It'd let her hide her face, if she weren't wearing a hoodie large enough for her to tug the hood over her eyes. She thought that, maybe, it would be cuter if she didn't wear a hoodie? That's what Minnie told her, anyways. [break][break]

Now she just wanted to cry in a ditch. [break][break]

But she straightens herself up - She was trying to look professional. She was trying to act natural (see how far that's getting her?) amidst the odd stares and rare snickers from the people who might have stopped to watch. She felt her cheeks warming as she gently clutched her purse with one hand. Why were people looking? [break][break]

Her free hand began to twirl around a lock of hair. She could feel the anxiety slowly chewing at her stomach - that is, until the person she was insistent on trying to avoid actually approached her. Her eyes shut slightly, head down to have her bangs cover her eyes. What was she expecting? What was she scared of? A scolding? A sneer? No, she was standing like an idiot where she bumped and, at his question, she immediately tries to look up at him (tries, because she could barely compose herself as it was). "I-I'm fine!" She raises her voice, possibly louder than intended. Definitely louder than intended. [break][break]

"P-Perfectly fine! Peachy..!" She manages to lower her voice, more as to not cause her fried any.. Embarrassment of his own. She had already gotten herself into this problem, after all. Her hands come together, fingers fumbling gently whilst she avoided the eye contact. She scoffs quietly. "Y-You just surprised me. That's all." [break][break

Blaine wasn't sure why Miya has walked into a trash can, though it was probably fair to assume she wasn't watching where she was going. The only other reason that popped into his mind was if she was pushed into it by someone, but it didn't seem like anyone else was close enough to her to of done it. Also if she was pushed she'd probably be angry right now instead of seemingly embarrassed. [break][break]

However he still wasn't going to try to draw any attention to her or bring up the can incident itself. That would just be kind of rude and the two of them were kind of friends, well at least he considered her a friend, so why further embarrass a friend. As he was getting ready to say something though his Pikachu would jump up onto the top of the trash can, standing close to the edge to get a closer look at Miya.[break][break]

After a moment of standing there the Pikachu leaned a little bit closer before blowing into the pipe in its mouth, a bunch of bubbles floating out of the top of it. Letting out a seemingly satisfied "Chuuu" sound the pikachu nodded at the bubbles before hopping down from the can. Maybe the pikachu thought the bubbles would cheer his trainer's friend up?[break][break]

Letting out a slight chuckle Blaine shook his head slightly. "Well im glad everythings good with you, its nice to catch up and all that junk." He blurted out, trying to play off his asking if she was okay being about the can in case anyone nearby was still listening at this point.[break][break]

"Sorry I spooked ya. What brings you out here though? I had a bit of extra money from this case and I just felt like blowing through some of it but I haven't found anything to buy yet." The man added as he slipped a hand into the pocket of his pants, taking a moment to glance around before looking back over at Miya as he awaited an answer. Hopefully it wouldn't contribute to her embarrassing situation.
