kyle is in the route because aero needs a ghost-type or a psychic-type for that fancy reward that gets displayed on his profile.

plus his poochies are hungry and need to eat. ghost and psychic-types are good food for a healthy, growing poochy.

metal wasn't a healthy food for a growing pooch, but it was in the way. the only way to get rid of it was to battle it or something.

he releases his mightyena. it doesn't take long for the dark-type to seize up to the bronzong given its advantages when it came to typing. there also was the case of his mightyena being confident in its ability to take down the wild pokemon.

"crunch."

the bronzong tries to attack the mightyena, but its efforts were all for naught as it doesn't affect the dark-type a bit.

the mightyena pounces at the bell, fangs trying to find a surface where they can latch on. its wide, smooth surface made it difficult, but the important thing was that the bronzong was now pinned on the ground by the mightyena.

kyle tosses a pokeball at its direction for a capture, suddenly remembering that he might know someone that might appreciate it.
