A bit of a fun fact is Niall's character was completely different when I first made him, this is a complete rehash of his persona with a darker spin to it. His full name is "Niall Seamus O'bryne", and when making him I had a huge issue coming up with a name other than Black Cat because I wanted something cat-like that symbolized bad luck, but his fc's alias is "Chat Noir" which translates from French to "Cat Black" or "Black Cat".[break][break]
When it comes to hiding his identity, Niall's personality seems to switch slightly. While as Black Cat, he's more uncouth in tongue and talks rather rudely towards those on the wrong side of the law, as well as seems to think he can handle things all by himself- as Niall he's much more polite, well-mannered and accepting of help from his peers in the medical industry. He's very well versed in the medical field, and often patches up his own injuries sustained by Vigilante work. However, he has a hard time not knowing how far he goes with things, and could very well lead himself into the hospital if he's not careful.[break][break]
His costume was made by a self-hired specialist in tailoring and design, the costume itself is not inherited to him by his uncle. In fact, the design is up in the air for the original costume as to not scare anyone he didn't use the original design for full reference at all. Another fact is that, while his Uncle may have tried to get him into the mantle early in life it was Niall's decision to uptake the mantle later in order to do justice. One major thing that I didn't note in his application is that he is very superstitious and self-righteous hence why Black Cat is meant to bring about bad luck.

Niall's not introverted by any stretch and is a relatively nice person to talk to. Despite his flaws, Niall is very sympathetic towards other people and is prone to worry about their safety and well-being. He's protective of his friends, but not to the point that it's overbearing- just wanting them to stay out of harm's way, and make sure trouble (or his enemies) don't find them or hurt them.[break][break]
Friends to him are very close to him on a personal level, and he's far more open towards them than anyone else. They're probably the people who'd make him laugh- he's not very good with cling-on type people. He can be a bit of a worry-wart himself, and prone to falling into doing things out of peer pressure unless they completely object to his personal boundaries. He seems to be a bit closer to his alias' persona, joking, playing and sometimes prone to sarcastic quips rather than his normal polite formality.[break][break]
Friends are always on a first-name basis with him, as appose to anyone else who is normally (unless Black Cat) on a last-name basis out of respect. That being said, he's not one to let his friends in on his secret identity unless there's a good reason, as he'd rather them stay out of the way of his secret life and not get involved.

While Niall as a person doesn't like to consider himself to have enemies, as Black Cat he knows there are quite a few. Bound to baring grudges as a vigilante, a problem Niall experiences is remorse for those who've wronged him. The sympathy he normally has seems to go right out the window, and these are the ones he's usually the rudest to as Black Cat. However, there are people who could consider him an enemy that he doesn't see as an enemy, leading to things becoming rather... awkward for him.[break][break]
Niall is capable of craftiness and manipulation, qualities often seen in villains. However, he does not consider himself one- in fact most of the people who he considers bad are those who are willing to harm people or pokemon for their own goals and personal gain. Achieving things through the sorrow of others is not something he finds justifiable and will stop at nothing to see those people down despite sharing similar qualities himself when presenting as Black Cat.[break][break]
As Niall, while he's more passive and easy to get along with, he's far more the "too kind to the point of irritation, he clearly doesn't like you" approach. He has a habit of purposefully ignoring someone who doesn't like him and just going into doing his job, showing that he's "obviously better" than the other person. He's supposed to be a medical professional after all, and is relatively good at keeping his emotions in check around others- only showing his nerves when in a quiet area.
