"Holy shit." He hadn't had any part in the creating choosing of these robots, so Lucas had no clue how truly big they'd be in person. The amount of destructive force behind just one malfunctioning robot was astonishing. Whichever company the league contracted for the Mauville restart project is likely never going to see another government contract again.

Lucas takes an exasperated sigh when Bailey's pokemon charges in before the group could make a plan or even observe the robot. "Minun," he thinks for a moment before calling out a move. He needed something not detrimental to their team. "Nasty plot."

Behind the party's metagross minun stood, its beady eyes following the robot as it came up with a nasty plot for how it'd go down. Maybe there was a backdoor in the robot they could stuff an electrode through? The possibilities that went through its head were both wild and endless.

Sam wasn't entirely sure how he'd come to be in this situation, but he found himself barely caring. He really needed to get into gear. Battling wasn't something he prided himself in, but Juggernaut, his Metagross, was hella good with him. So hopefully their chemistry would help these three trainers... who looked oddly familiar, and shit if he didn't have a moment of panic when he realized it wasn't because they were apart of Rocket...

Instead of a strategy, the brunette makes a move first. He supposes given his Metagross is also out front, they're the tanks and offensive units, the other two being more of a support group.

"Don't let it get behind you," Sam reminds Jug, wanting to keep the Trainers and Pokemon as safe as possible - and honestly as far away from the damned thing as possible. Since the Krookodile cornered it, Sam decided what the hell, why not go in for a full attack. "Stomping Tantrum."
