kyle wants a flying-type pokemon for the event.

he tilts his head up in the sky to try and find a bird that suits his liking. it doesn't even have to be a great bird, just some bird that does not look stupid.

he readies a slingshot and tries to shoot it down, animal crossing-style.

his slingshot hits the braviary. it gets angry and notices them. unsurprisingly, it swoops down straight to kyle, seeing him as the source of his injury, which wasn't false.

"thunder!"

he throws a pokeball on the ground, calling his manectric. without wasting a moment, the electric-type summons forth a large bolt of lightning from the skies, striking down the flying-type with such force that leaves it weakened.

it drops on the ground, failing to maintain its flight after taking the hit. kyle nudges his manectric to catch it as it fell, jumping and grabbing it by its neck before it breaks it from the fall from a high altitude.

he gets his manectric to drop it on the ground. kyle approaches it and tosses a pokeball at the unconscious bird.
