a cloudy day, the sun would peek in the form of sun rays. phasing through the garnet's greenhouse where, inside, a man stood. he wore what looked to have been a forehead covering, it was a white bandanna. a black alolan (hawaiian) collared short-sleeved shirt was worn for his top, the top half unbuttoned. a pair of beige shorts were his bottom wear. lastly, for footwear, he wore a pair of black sandals.

a samurott could be seen taking in the scent of plants referred to as the heart of arceus (heart of jesus); flowers that came with many names, but were known, in their family, as caladium specifically. "aren't they lovely samurott?" the man spoke his to pokemon. "they earned their name because of their form. it looks like a heart with their shape, and the red linings are like the veins. pretty neat, right?" samurott uttered its name, agreeing upon its sniffing and examining of the plant.

"it inspires my next performance." oh, but wait. he'd let out a slight chuckle, "i forgot we're taking a break from contests for awhile. i guess it's hard to get out of that mindset, hehe." he'd come to pick up a hose and began to moderately water them. making sure to be careful so as to not overdo it. for the time being he believed himself to be alone and merely carried about his business. admiring the garden before him as he watered the flowers and samurott.

olivia hummed a melody as she entered the humid greenhouse of the garnet hall. she had left oereo, her cradily to rest in the comfort of the greenery. the gods only knew she deserved it after recent ordeals. olivia thought it would be nice to visit the fossil pokemon, as well as give her other pokemon a chance to play. as of recent, when strolling the garnet hall, olivia kept sao her gorebyss nearby. to raise moral or whatnot. her summer dress of striped rose pink on pale pearl flowed around her, comfortable sandals laced around her feet, and her silver hair tied in a pony tail as she neared the cradily.

meara and calypso tottered behind, while sao and ornea floated along above olivia; the former inside a giant bubble. "hello, dear." olivia greeted the flower fossil with a smile. she whistled, and calypso's bobbing tail twitched in an impromptu rain dance. a miniature rain cloud appeared overhead and began to drizzle the cradilly in a soothing shower. her vapreon and staryu began to splash in the puddles, while the bubble enclosed gorebyss floated overhead and played in the sphere of water. calypso, ever vigilant, stood guard near olivia. she giggled at the playing pokemon.

none of this was in the least bit private. her cradily was larger than most of the other flora in the greenhouse, plus the spinning staryu, bubble trapped gorebyss, and mini rain could would make any others in the room well aware they weren't alone.

it was unexpected! to be in the presence of the infamous queen of the sea: Olivia Abbiati herself. "oooh! you're Olivia Abbiati !" he called out to the female, mouth agape as he was starstruck. to be in the presence of a well-known woman, it was quite a bit of a surprise. pulling out his phone, dawn would drop his hose in order to march upward to the famous water specialist.

"please allow me the chance to take a picture with you!" dawn asked. eyes glistening like a child witnessing their idol. "first FERNANDO SILPH , and now Olivia Abbiati ! today's really my lucky day, lucky-lucky!" he chimed within a singsong manner. "hey, hey, is it true that you're a professor of lore?! and that you beat the sinnoh circuit?!" realizing how overbearing he was being, he'd blush. turning red and nearly almost dropping his cellular device!

he'd step back several feet, bowing repeatedly and, almost a bit, too aggressively. he was practically gonna break his back with how hard he was bowing in repetition. "i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i'm sorry about that!!" the fellow was a bit eccentric, but harmless nonetheless. samurott watched from afar as his trainer was being his usual self before others.

beams of moonlight bounced around olivia's head as she turned towards the voice who called her name. "yes?" she asked, a brow arched as the stranger approached with a cellphone held in hand. calypso immediately put himself in between the stranger and his mistress. her other pokemon watched curiously as the odd fellow approached. meara trotted to olivia's side and ornea began to analyze the situation to try and discern any threat. oeroe stood tall and mighty, unfazed by the weak meat sack that was not olivia. sao was the most curious. the gorebyss floated towards the stranger as he asked his questions, olivia silent all the while, ocean eyes judging the man.

and suddenly he understood the concept of personal space. the stranger took a few steps back and began to bow profusely. it was rare to find someone so... interested in her for the right reasons. olivia offered the stranger a warm smile and waved away his bowing with a flick of her wrist. "no need for such formalities, dear." she began before continuing, "yes, i defeated sinnoh gym leaders and am a professor of mythos, legends, and the gods they tell of. the gym leader of sootopolis as well, but the more interesting question is: who are you?" aqua eyes gave the man a one over as she waited for him to answer.
