Azure was born into wealth. His mother was a famous violinist and singer and toured across the region before settling down to have a child. He would inherit some of his mothers talent but not her passion as much of his young life was spent in the greenhouse with the plants. The colorful, exotic flowers were what was turning into his passion. The large bouquets displayed on the tables of the lavish parties his family attended opened his eyes to the world of growing and arranging such beauty as a job.

Before his passion could get rolling to far however, his parents were tragically killed in a car accident. He was taken in by his uncle, an equally wealthy businessman. Azure withdraws into himself in his grief. Gone is the sweet outgoing young man and instead it was replaced with a quiet, cynical specter of his former self. At the very least he still had his mawile and sylveon to keep him company. They were his one constant.

In time Azure learned that his uncle had some less than savory connections with Team Rocket. He was asked to cover for his uncle absences and lie to his aunt and anyone else curious should they ask to many questions. Then he was asked if he wanted to join and make a few extra pokedollars on the side. It didn't have to be anything dangerous, or terribly illegal just making deliveries or watching for people from cafe's and the like. Reluctantly, Azure agreed. He didn't feel as if he had a purpose or a dream to strive for, he'd lost it along with his parents.

Azure had a desire to be needed and remembered by those around him and it showed in his daily life. He reached a point to where he wasn't really turning down jobs and came way to close to being discovered by the authorities. His uncle chewed him out, insisting he needed to find a "real" job as a cover. Unsure of what to do, Azure ended up working with flowers at a florist shop. It helped encourage the ember of his dreams back to life, even if he didn't see himself ever becoming some designer florist like he once had. This was when he befriended his flabebe. The poor thing had been drawn in by the scent of flowers and was scared and alone.

When Team Rocket crumbled and disbanded, Azure found his life oddly empty. He still had a job and his daily routine to outsiders appeared the same but a large portion of his income had been lost. Picking up more shifts, he becomes a full time employee at the shop. Rumors of the organization rebuilding begin circulation among his old contacts and Azure reached out, interested in contributing.
