Founded on the Southern Continent two Turns before the 10th Pass, Innovo Weyr stands strong despite a troubled history and continued strife.

The weyr's first Weyrwoman was assassinated. Many senior founders were lost in a disastrous early combat against their ancient enemy. Dragonkin hatching with strange colors brings controversy across Pern. Salvo, Innovo's sister weyr which shouldered half the burden of protecting spreading settlements in the southeast, has become a volcanic inferno. Refugees crowd the weyr after a harrowing journey to safety, and resources are tight.

To make matters worse, as dragonkind evolves, so too does the menace they were born to fight. Thread, already a nigh impossible foe that rains onto the planet in waves, now shows hints of intelligence. Its forms are changing. Fighting this war of attrition requires inventive solutions that much of Pern is unwilling to embrace. Will the world adapt, or will strict adherence to tradition spell their downfall?


Non-canon Dragonriders of Pern, LGBTQA+ friendly! Several high ranks are available to active members (including Wingleaders, Wingseconds, teachers and gold candidates).
