now he stands on a pedestal of power but no one to reign over. peace settles of the land and fernando has become complacent. he's self aware and makes an effort to dissuade himself from succumbing to the inactivity. hunting for sport always rouses him to action and there's none better than feral pokemon.

some odd semblance of a six sense feels that something approaches. he looks to dominate and conquer, domesticating the most ferocious of pokemon.

fernando is not one to be denied. he refuses to take no for an answer. this will be no different.

[attr="class","spiral"] a wild pelipper bleats from above him. he notices it long before it sounds. the shadow it casts allows fernando to trace it back to the skies and he watches in mild fascination. such a graceful flight pattern despite the bulky body astounds him. truly a specimen of the sky.

fernando's fascination doesn't last long. like anything else that demands aerial superiority, it begs for him to clip its wings. the ELECTIVIRE that comes forth will be the one to carry out his will. the THUNDER it brings sends the pokemon into a downward spiral and only after it lands with a loud thud does fernando scoop it up in an empty pokeball.

it's simple but good practice for things to come.
