monty will be her friend. say, that they, are off on a mission. she took an interest because of research and requested ranger back up, eh eh? and then monty gets there and is just friendly overall cause she seems decent. then he notices she's not super confident at times and shy and so he's like, 'well i mean come on grown a backbone' but he means it well?? idk, just thought he could kinda pull her outta her comfort zone in a 'constructive criticism' kinda way.

hi yes i'm so sorry i'm super late on replying to this ;u; i'd love for them to be friends, though~ constructive criticism would be perfect to help her become a little more confident. she 10/10 might cry but i'm here for it c: meeting on a mission is a great idea! i feel like she might be very shy with him and worry she's going to offend him or something so she'll kinda flounder around not sure how to act or anything but with his help, she'll come outta her shell a bit more and they could be good buddies <3

Hey! So I've been looking for somebody who might be interested in partaking in some research assignments with Remy. Since he works as an anthropologist for the Devon Corporation, his assignments can take him pretty much anywhere and have a great possibility of getting him in contact with all manner of scientists and specialists. He also has his own personal research assignments as well, though, and those were the ones I was mainly interested in RP'ing with another person. Maybe something leading up to a legendary encounter? I think that'd be pretty cool.

While I am interested in him working with fellow scientists and researchers from Team Rocket, however, I think it'd be fun for Illeana and him to interact as well. Remy definitely toes the line between power-obsessed royal fudgemuffin and awkwardly dorky geek. I feel like their love of science and geeky nonsense would bring them together as comrades/friends, but maybe when Remy's unfavorable traits pop up Illeana and him will start to hit some bumps on the road to friendship. Whether it is enough to warrant them becoming rivals or whether the two have any success in changing the other's perspective in any kind of meaningful way is yet to be seen.

But yeah! Lemme know if you have any ideas, too! =]

but i love your ideas omg they'd get along swimmingly~ another geeky bean to bounce ideas off of is just what illie needs. maybe he can even tell her that her ideas aren't garbage like she thinks c: research threads for these two would be amazing too! i'm sure if they put their minds together, they'd probably be a force to be reckoned with too tbh. smart bbies <3

she probably wouldn't get too upset with him about his unfavorable traits until he either steps on her toes or insults her then she'll cry. either way, i feel some bestie energy from these bbies so let's throw the geeks together n see what happens c: (i also noticed you rolled illie in the egf so we can do a thread for extra rewards too~)

You're absolutely fine! Almost everyone here (including me, at this point) has so many notifications whizzing by for posts that I am not at all surprised if some things get overlooked briefly haha.

But awesome! I'm glad you dig those ideas. You seem like a pretty fun writer to work with, so I'm freakin' excited. ♡ And yes, Remy certainly calls out things for what they are, and if he likes her ideas but notices she doesn't have the confidence to go through with them, he'll be sure to let her know and support her. He can be kind of cold otherwise, but I still think that's a part of him that would be interesting to see Illeana react to as well. Oh, but when they're working together I've no doubt they'll be a force to be reckoned with. >:3

yes hello, i know we already have a thread with these two but i wanted to branch out my ideas. i really really like illeana and i think she's exactly the type of friend stormy would be attracted to! she's shy, awkward, and adorable. stormy is loud, bubbly, outgoing, and doesn't take no for an answer!

if you're looking for someone to teach her how to let loose and make friends, how to experience and enjoy all that the world has to offer, i think stormy can do that! of course, stormy's had her fair share of heartbreak and depression lately so she isn't quite the same cheerful and confident girl she used to be - but she's recovering and healing.

so anyway, i think these two have whatever that word is for people who just.. get along great.

Douglass? Totally not a book guy. More of a hiking, active, live-in-the-moment type that I think could be a real foil for Illeana. I think it'd be really cute if she were a bit of a stick in the mud and Douglass kinda pulled her out of her shell a bit. Maybe they run into eachother while she's trying to do some research and she's stuck, and he suggests they do anything but the research in an attempt to get her mind off of it (but he doesn't tell her that, he shows her through sheer willpower) and they come up to like a cliff face and Douglass goes "wym turn around? Let's climb it!" and they do and it turns out to be some great lesson for her and it helps her find a breakthrough in her research. Or maybe it just destresses her enough that she's like "maybe I should find more value in taking a break sometimes and looking at the big picture" and overall they just have a fun time together <3

That's just an example but stick in the mud meets unstoppable force of adventure energy sound like a fun combo for these two at least initially.

While we're at it, I noticed that a lot of your pokemon are quadrapeds. dogs and foxes and cats oh my. which of them do you think would get along? which would fight? which would pull Illeana towards adventure and which would be like "guuuuurl, he just wants to distract you from your research. dont give him any of your attention you sweet sweet butterfly you"

at first, he'll more than likely completely overwhelm her because she's so withdrawn and not exactly the socializing type but if he's persistent, which he definitely seems to be, then she'll open up to him more. douglass forcing her into uncomfortable situations is so perfect too wtf i love this so much??? like yes, force her to climb cliffs and do everything that she would never even dream of doing!!! she might cry while doing all of this but it's fine, he's nice and won't judge her c:

they totally radiate that exploring friendship kinda energy omg. also, most of her pokemon would be against her doing dangerous activities because that's their precious illie, they must protecc at all costs! her ninetales, flammae, would be the biggest supporter of keeping her away from him but she'll also gladly tag along if only to make sure that illie is okay. i picture her actually bringing her golurk along for most of these adventures bc he's a cute lil giant who wants to explore and gets excited easily~
