The dead of the night. [break][break]

Not that it ever bothered Ayame. Frankly, she embraced the night and welcomes it with open arms. A sheet of twilight above and nothing to interrupt her peace in the pitch black of the dark; it was bliss. That is, save for the little mumbles she hears just from the corner of an alleyway. She glances, curiously in the direction of the voice. Initially, she intended to stay silent, shrug her shoulders and continue on with her night. She'd know better than to approach alleyways with suspicious voices in the night, after all. [break][break]

But call it a fleeting curiosity that pushed her to do otherwise. Ayame slowly approaches the crack between the buildings. Though she appeared composed and lax about the situation, she was cautious and was ready to pull her pokemon in the event of an attack, or something. That's when she hears the footsteps of another person behind her, and she turns quickly to take a look. "Who's there?"

she typically went to sleep at this hour, but restlessness caused her to wander.

her heels went clack-clack-claick on the street as she walked. she kept her Pokemon on her at all times, aware of the potential dangers roaming about at night could be. there could be perverts out. there could be... anything really. and just as she thought that - a voice echoed out. softly, lovingly almost. and then it was gone, replaced by the more vocal question; who's there? "I am" she utters, stepping out into the view of the other person. she noticed it was a fellow Rocket, though Philomena could not recall what the other woman's name was. she crossed her arms delicately in front of her as she walked forward.

stopping a respectful distance away from the other human being, her pale eyes cast around them. "did you hear... something else?" she asked, a bit cautiously. Philo didn't believe in superstitions or the supernatural much, yet the disembodied voice had been there. noticing the alleyway, she too would peek around the corner. a little smirk played on her pink lips. "shall we check it out?" a slender hand raised a Pokeball, gesturing within the depths of the dark. she was all for investigating - if the other woman went first. she would act as support, just as she always did in her job daily. there were no illusions about her lack of experience and power.

She sees a woman - scantily dressed, if she might add - in the dead of the night. Empty, amethyst eyes gaze upon her briefly before Ayame moves herself into a small, greeting bow. Though the smile on her face was welcoming (warm, almost), it meant nothing with the void where her sheen should have been. The only thing visible there would have been the reflection of the other woman, if not the lights of the nightposts flickering or shining above the two of them. [break][break]

The woman seemed familiar, but Ayame never bothered to remember a face that she hasn't worked with; there was no reason to. With the nod of her head, followed by a silent hush, she begins to slowly approach the beckoning voice. Her actions were an answer enough.

She tilts her head, gently, as they both begin to approach the crack between the buildings. She tries to get a better look, but to no avail. Had she not been a patient woman, she would have grown slightly irritated at how she could hear the voice, but couldn't see the source of it. "It shouldn't be dangerous.." she trails off, only to silence as she hears the voice again. again, it beckons; but not to a danger. If anything, Ayame pauses at the question;[break][break]

"Red or Blue?"[break][break]

The shadow asks, and Ayame is put aback. She glances to the woman, then shrugs her shoulders. ".. Blue?"
