Another target flew into the air and just as before Lucifer fired a blast of flames at said target. What was different around this time was the unfortunate happenstance of a Pokémon flying pass. Much to Joseph surprise however the Pokémon managed to avoid the stream of flames with grace and speed.

”Huh.” A small smile appeared on the young man’s face as he rubbed his chin. ”Alright Lucifer we’re changing up the objective.” Wick began, pointing to the Pokémon which was now identified as a Yanma. ”We’re going to be capturing that bug.” A small fast target was great practice.

Lucifer acknowledging the order given fired another blast of flames at the bug, this time with the intent of hitting it. Much to the Typhlosion’s annoyance the bug managed to dodge the blast and fired an attack of its own back at him. Lucifer avoided the attack and while this happened Joseph was beginning to notice something.

Was the Pokémon perhaps getting faster? ”Another one.” And to no one surprise Lucifer’s attacked missed again but this did confirm his suspicion as the Yanma was moving much faster now. ”What a troublesome pest.” He smiled again.

”Quick Attack, let’s go.” Joseph ordered, the Typhlosion responding by lunging at the Yanma, using his own incredible speed. The bug type managed to avoid but this time it was different than before, the Pokémon’s eyes shined a bright color. ”Not bad, not bad at all.” Time to end this little dance.

”Eruption” The Yanma had only dodged to the side and hadn’t cleared enough distance to avoid the spectacle of Lucifer’s burning explosion. Out of the cloud of smoke of soot both Pokémon descended to the ground though Lucifer landed on his feet and the bug landed unconsciously on the ground.

Joseph casually threw an empty pokeball at the bug type, going for the capture. ”A nice addition.”
