she was born into a family of surgeons and doctors. unfortunately for her, her parents were also involved with rocket and dealt with illegal operations and medical practices. growing up, wendy was expected to do well in school and, though she loved her parents dearly, grew up afraid of them. she turns into a shut in while growing up, and eventually grew deathly afraid of other people due to her lack of social interaction. as the years pass she shows signs of psychosis by killing and dissecting animals or pokemon. however, she does not remember when she does this and cried whenever she found dead animals in her drawers. her mother grew concerned, while her father wanted to take advantage of this. after numerous arguments and a messy divorce, she's taken by her mother to live a quiet life out in johto. money was tight between them, and her mother picked up drinking as a coping mechanism. as to not worry her mother, she stayed silent about bullying from school regarding injuries she would sustain from the night before. she'd cope on her own by dissociating, and eventually started to rely on it to feel happy or a rush of any sort. at some point, her mother reached her edge and left wendy on her own. her father came back for her after getting the news. he proceeded to teach her all he knew, and she began to work as his assistant until she got into university and started as a nursing student. after legally becoming a nurse, she began to perform surgeries and procedures on her own in her father's basement. she's roped into team rocket through her father. she knows what she does and she knows what her father does, but she can never explain how she does or what she does (assuming she'll even remember) if asked about it.

she's complicated; like two people living in the same body, and yet herself all the same. outside of her work, she is a soft spoken woman who's deathly scared of other people, looking upwards (tall people intimidate her) and would sooner hole herself up in a room so that she didn't have to talk to anyone. but at the same time, she's kind-hearted and wants nothing more than to help the people around her. she's fully aware of her problem, so she chose the pursue the career as a nurse so she can talk to people more often. she tends to do much better with the elderly and children, and relaxes considerably with them. otherwise, most people would sooner chase her off. thankfully, she has a strong sense of duty and will still perform her job - no matter how uncomfortable she may be. on the flip side, she is.. slightly unstable. wendy has the tendency to dissociate when she is under stress, and her personality takes a drastic turn. although it isn't enough to be classified as a "multiple personality", she takes pleasure in giving and receiving pain; and this is how she copes. typically, she doesn't remember specifically what she's done nor does she remember why she needed to. this can be triggered by the sight of any sorts of gore (on screen or real), the smell of blood, or the sight of an exposed wound while she is under immense stress and pressure. it usually ends with mutilation if not controlled.[break][break]

she is fine with patients and she is (usually) alright without supervision when performing illegal procedures. she tries her best to keep herself from dissociating and, as a result, she keeps a pendant of her mother's around her neck and uses it as an anchor when she feels like she might drift off. like her mother, she wants to do everything she can to help the people around her. the fear has unfortunately been fostered by her father, seeing that he tended to control her through fear. she profusely apologies for making mistakes and her anxiety does get in the way of her memory most of the time. all in all; she unconfident and will never speak her mind. she second guesses herself, and will always ask for permission for things she can do or decide on her own. she is unbelievably obedient and precise, but fairly gullible as a result. if she thinks that she'll be able to help someone by doing what she doesn't, she'll do it.

MEDICINE FRIENDS or, more specifically, people who are into medicine with her both legally and not-so-legally. as a nurse, she contacts quite a few doctors and other nurses when she works. when she's underground, she's worked with doctors who've prescribed patients to her. she is known to be a trustworthy and intelligent doctor; but she has never actually revealed her identity to many people.

PATIENTS are a desperate yes. they can be patients from the hospital so she nurses them, or they can be patients from the underground. you need an organ replaced? done, she'll do it. you want a robotic arm? she'll snap that on for you bb, so long as you have the right price. you just wanna talk to the nurse while she's treating you? sure, if you want her to turn into a hot, teary-eyed mess.
