the woman leaned against the corner of her balcony, heavily resting against the old, metallic railing as she stared off in the distant. far overhead the crowds of the indoor city that mauville was, their distant, loud rumble was deaf on the former doctor's ears, and her odd colored eyes held a hazy, far-off look. the pounding headache she had only aided in the static-filled background noise that was the city, and made her thoughts all the more distorted. 'how annoying,'

kyu and kon, the twin fox pokemon, lounged about in a constant state of rest. as the only two pokemon of hers that she favored enough to both name and allow to constantly be by her side, both took advantage of the spacious room within the condo. this wasn't the only 'humble abode' the scientist had, but, it was her most 'cozy' one, despite its almost vacant and untouched look.

the ring of the doorbell snags circe from her daydreaming. she let out a rather heavy sigh, a hand briefly disheveled her pale locks, as she forces her frown into an unburdened smile. couldn't have anyone catching onto the foxes charm, after all. not even an ally. there was the slight jostle of a pill bottle, as she downed two bright white pills to, hopefully, get rid of the annoying pound in her head as she headed towards the door. wearing a wine red halter dress and bare-footed, her typical black and fur-lined coat hung limply on the couch.

the door opened, and she greeted a, slightly, familiar face with a smile. "...hm? sorry, you have the wrong address." the words were a playful taunt filled with 'warmth'. still, the door remained opened in an unsaid 'come in,' as she turned away from the man, heading back inside her apartment.
