The safari zone. 

She'd be lying if she said she's been here before. With all the hype and the news going around about it, though, she doesn't see why she hasn't set the time aside to take a gander at what it had to offer. 

What she didn't enjoy was the fee she had to pay, but she digresses. Though it was fairly cold, she had her little fire centipede curled up at her shoulders like a scarf, hoping to keep his trainer warm as she walked down the path.

Though she acknowledges the starmie hanging around the side, she doesn't pay it much mind. 

Rather, she keeps a calm smile on her lips while gently nuzzling into the carapace of her centiskorch. She brings her hands up to gently rub against each other and warm herself up with the radiating heat.

"Yuki would like this weather~" she muses.

she takes another breath of frigid air before nuzzling back into the fire bug's carapace. walking through, she sees a tiny little, alolan vulpix curled up by a snowy bush. with a small smile on her face, she crouches down to get a better look. 

... aw. it was actually kind of cute. though, cute didn't necessarily mean that it softened her heart, it was pretty close. "aren't you a darling?" she asks, tilting her head with a soft smile on her face. 

yes, she very much would like it. maybe it can play with yuki for a while, too. that thought in her mind, she tosses a safari ball at it.

she stares at the pokeball as it bounces back to her, and she narrows her eyes, slightly. that's right; it wouldn't stay in there and quietly accept it. 

ayame tries to slowly approach the pokemon, before crouching a bit to get closer. the vulpix coils backwards - understandable, considering that ayame just tried to imprison it in a pokeball. yet even then, she maintained a small smile while holding a finger to her lips. "... i'm sorry for startling you." her voice is hushed, trying to soothe the wary pokemon. 

in an attempt to make peace, she pulls a berry that she harvested from her garden, and holds it out to the vulpix with a reassuring smile. the petite fox pokemon begins to cautiously approach, before taking a bite of the berry on the ground. it continued to eat it, until it was munching and finishing it up quickly. it gives ayame an expectant gaze. 

"... are you hungry?~" she asks, pulling out another berry and holding it out to it. "poor thing.. do the other pokemon take the food from you?" she asks. though there's no response, ayame takes the silent crunching and munching from the vulpix as a response. mulling this over, she pulls the pokeball of her frosmoth out to let it greet the ice fox. 

the frosmoth stares at the vulpix for a bit, before hovering down by it. the two of them seemed to communicate for a while, then her frosmoth blew a soft, colder breeze at the vulpix in a playful manner. she giggles at the image. 

"... I can give you more food if you come with us~" she says, pulling another pokeball out. the vulpix gives another stare, and ultimately sat themselves down as ayame tosses the pokeball at it again.
