Stepping into the casino, Rowan is immediately hit with the smell of smoke and alcohol. Her nose wrinkles and, for a split second, she considers turning around and leaving; in the end, she decides against it. She came here for a good time, she was going to have a good time.

A couple of men who didn't know how to turn on a shower weren't going to ruin that for her.

She takes a seat at the nearest table, sliding into the chair beside the man already sitting there. The smile she offers him is practiced, polite; it doesn't match the look in her eyes, mischief sparking there.

"You don't look like you belong here," she tells him, handing over a few bills to the employee behind the table, exchanging her money for playing chips.

[attr="class","spiral"] The man chuckles in response, sparing the newcomer a meager glance before looking back at his chips. He adorns the standard pose, idly playing with a chip between the joints of his fingers, indifferent to the others at the table and whatever claims they have on the game's prize pool. Apathy becomes commonplace and those with bad poker faces stick out immediately.

"I grew up here, actually," he replies with a hoarse tone. The second hand smoke does wonders for his lungs and his niche habit comes back to bite him in the ass. He leaves his cigarettes untouched today, having quit smoking well after his last stunt in gambling with officer .

His other hand comes down on his flat cap, pushing against his head and scratching through the fabric as he tries to size her up. "Ready to squander your Christmas money?"
