the first cry for help comes from the beach.[break][break]

it's a little past midnight when the peaceful air of slateport is corrupted by the surfacing of what appear to be armed personnel with their pokemon, strong and fierce, leading the charge up the beach. unfortunate souls out at this time of the night are subjected to the terrifying sight. they don black uniforms with a familiar symbol on it. those from kanto would know it out of fear. hoenn will soon know the same, because:[break][break]

rocket have arrived.[break][break]

announcing their presence in grand fashion, rocket forces storm the city with ferocity and determination, looking to take the city and claim it as theirs. no one stands in their way. anyone who does will be eliminated.[break][break][break][break]

CLARIFICATION![break][break]

this is an invasion event, marking rocket's first deliberate attack on the region. be dramatic, make it tense, and battle!
for plot purposes, rocket will be successful in this invasion.
league characters will attempt to minimize losses.
the invasion will be split in four threads (different locations) that will happen simultaneously.
threads will have objectives for team rocket and league factions, allowing for mini-victories on either side.
you have a choice of which thread/location you want to participate in. do you join the thread where your character and their pokemon can play to their strengths, or do you join a thread to even out the numbers for your faction?
you can participate with as many characters as you would like. one character per thread.
there's a forty-eight hour posting rule before every mod round.
bring as many pokemon as you want!
this event is death-enabled, but will not feature rolls.
please post below with the characters you will join with. furthermore, please also list down the pokemon they will bring.
