awareness of the situation is a factor that helps shape the outcome. he sees the impending EARTHQUAKE before it even happens: hippowdon's little leg lift gives it away. each stomp rattles the ground, shaking it to its core but that doesn't stop nidoqueen from charging towards it. her SUPERPOWER is unrivaled even as the ground splinters below her weight. she's not able to stop the FISSURE, but she's able to punch the hippowdon square in its head.

hippowdon is strong but it's slow: its weakness is the deciding factor of the battle as nidoqueen swiftly moves around it. she uses her SUPERPOWER strength to grab it by its orifices as she attempts to lift it up only to slam it back down into the ground.

FISSURE cracks the earth into two as it snakes its way towards them. before he's able to react to it, he sees a rocket member charging out towards them, forcing his hand.

"stop him."

orders are similar but the intent is different. nidoking moves forward and rams his MEGAHORN right into the body of the arbok, impaling it before flinging it away towards its trainer. a STONE EDGE smacks against the rocket, removing him from the battle.

violence needs to be fought with violence but he won't resort to unnecessary killing no matter what his instincts might say. not when she's here.

awareness: a lone figure in the window of the power plant. the odds were in their favor but with her in the equation, he's not too sure anymore. ezra morgan. her undying loyalty to her boss means she won't compromise the mission for the chance at his head. it's eating her up inside and he knows it. he practically sees it in her piercing green eyes.

for now, she remains an undecided factor in the grand scheme of things.

swanna saves them from being consumed by the FISSURE. with them now near the entrance, he feels lucario vanishing forward with its EXTREME SPEED. one glance back tells him nidoking's hurt but safe as he tails closely behind.

persephone's merciless order rings like a sweet melody; it allows him to relive his past, to influence his actions as he moves forward. awareness makes him stop.

turning to shield persephone, he uses his body to block the oncoming gust of wind. "hold your breath." he covers her mouth just in time to feel the strong WHIRLWIND from kim cole-essam's volcorona fly past them; the silver specks of SLEEP POWDER soon fades into the air.

breaking away from persphone, he turns to call escavalier out. "prepare yourself," is all it takes for escavalier to boost himself with a SWORDS DANCE and IRON DEFENSE, preparing himself for a battle. nidoking does the same with FOCUS ENERGY.

nikolai remains vigilant.

SUMMARY

lucius hallows' hippowdown EARTHQUAKES, following up with a FISSURE with the crack surging toward NIKOLAI PETROV and persephone amavi. doublade is summoned; lucius hallows wields an IRON DEFENSED blade in each hand— and he slaughters a worker. "Gaaaaghhh!"
kim cole-essam comes back from a lunch break the fuck with his skitty. he walks in, passing the fighters before sending out a torterra who WITHDRAWS, to act as a shield for a scientist he's escorting.
patricia doyle politely asks kim cole-essam to leave. lilligant fills the room (floor 1b) with SLEEP POWDER. her roselia scatters TOXIC SPIKES to block the passage to the stairs to the next floor (2b).
kim cole-essam walks into the sleep powder field and begins to doze off. however, his skitty WAKE-UP SLAPS him to get him conscious. volcarona is summoned to WHIRLWIND the SLEEP POWDER and TOXIC SPIKES away. he loads the scientist on to the torterra.
@ezra, disguised as a man, is wearing a mask to avoid spores. she summons a metang that MAGNET RISES to avoid the EARTHQUAKE and SPIKES. the metang PSYCHICS unconscious workers onto TOXIC SPIKES. several workers are poisoned and at risk of dying.
@trash tries to BOOMBURST anything his way, his exploud being immune due to SOUNDPROOF. his dusclops is out, ready to potentially contest kim cole-essam.
using swanna's flight, she avoids the FISSURE with NIKOLAI PETROV. however, she's shaken by the EARTHQUAKE. she releases her lucario to use EXTREMESPEED to reach lucius hallows before attempting a CLOSE COMBAT on him!
NIKOLAI PETROV does some extra bullshit but basically nidoqueen BODY SLAMS hippowdon and tries to lift + slam it with SUPER POWER nidoking uses FOCUS ENERGY and escavalier SWORDS DANCE and IRON DEFENSE.

lucius hallows: the earthquakes and fissures threaten the building. a portion of the first floor collapses, giving way to the second floor (2b).
@ezra: the poisoned workers are visibly poisoned, and some fall onto the second floor from the resulting quakes.

the league have arrived. from the front of the power plant, league officers start to approach with their pokemon out, ready to defend the power plant. with parts of the first floor collapsed, rocket forces can do little but to look up at the impending JUSTICE that's about to rain down on them.

a suck of his teeth and a frown would convey the annoyance he felt at the unnecessary display for a lack of sympathy the redhead possessed. and along with that, some other asshole is trying to attack him now, along with the building starting to crumble. his patience was running thin, real quick.

with a huff, he would stand tall and shout in a semi-annoyed tone.

“hey assholes! listen here and listen good. i don’t give a fuck what you’re trying to do, as long as you let me get these people out of your way and stay out of mine. if you want to fight anyone, fight those dummies over there that are putting up one.”

with that he would continue to load sleeping scientist, replacing ones that weren’t in immediate danger of poison with ones that were, onto the torterra, giving the turtle a pat to move towards the exit and the volcarona a signal to follow and provide protection. as it moved, the torterra steeled itself, withdrawing from battling.

meanwhile, he would once again help where he could, dragging scientist closer to the exit and sort of putting them in a big sleep pile to load onto the torterra when it had returned.

“y’all are so fuckin extra.”

he’d whisper under his breath, the notion aimed towards the rockets and not the scientist he was moving.

skitty would also do its best, slowly dragging scientist as close to the group as she could.

• yelled “leave me alone” to everyone basically
• torterra carried a load of scientest towards the exit with volcarona protecting it, and used withdraw twice
• kim and skitty are just putting scientest into a pile to make it easier to load them onto his torterra

patricia's attention is split between the man still moving people and the man trying to move her. if the workers are carried outside they might wake up, and that could impede their job -- but her job is to listen to ezra. all of their jobs are, technically. at least she's fairly certain that's how rank works. in the end she of course yields to her underboss. there's just no other option.

"yeah, okay."

it's a response to both the new arrival and the one giving her orders. she allows herself to be pulled swiftly and roughly onto the metang before extending a hand to her roselia.

the pokemon pulls itself up onto her arm before nestling herself into her neck. as they move to leave she returns her lilligant, and in that moment also watches the workers be flung onto the TOXIC SPIKES she'd left. her gut twists, but unlike before she says nothing.

when it came to the actions of her superiors she isn't allowed the luxury of anger or indignation.

"maybe take care of them first."

her voice is exceptionally quiet; aimed at the helpful stranger. speaking up like this is more than a little frightening, but she's seen what those spikes can do more times than she can count. no one should suffer through that kind of thing. not when they've already stopped being a threat.

The nidoqueen would succeed with its BODY SLAM, leaving the hippowdon fazed enough to be vulnerable for its SUPERPOWER toss. However, hippowdon detests being manhandled. As the nidoqueen picked the hippo up, using the very last bit of its strength to squirm and turn itself to face the nidoqueen, the hippowdon would then deliver a mighty CRUNCH to the nidoqueen as it had been lifted. Should the hippo's CRUNCH hit and successfully bite down on any part of the nidoqueen, it would keep its jaw tightly shut and clamped on the nidoqueen, in hopes of taking the rhino down together with it.

Regardless, with a CRUNCHed nidoqueen or none, the hippowdon would end up being slammed hard on the ground, however, it wasn't over for the hippowdon, not yet. As soon as it had hit the ground, the hippowdon began to DIG down and aimed for the power plant's basement.

While the league scum might have his nidoqueen and nidoking, he did have a royal pair of his own. For now, he called forth for his queen. The alolan ninetales had been sent out with a mere tap on its assigned pokeball. The fox stood beside Lucius, keeping him guard.

However, the lucario was simply too fast. The lucario would hit Lucius away after making contact wiith its EXTREME SPEED, sending the poor man flying off to the side, breaking a few of his bones. Lucius coughed up blood, his eyes filled with killing intent. He raised his doublade over his head and scratched each other's blades together, creating one ear shattering METAL SOUND for everyone outside the power plant to hear.

At the very least, his alolan ninetales was able to come up with a suitable action in retaliation against the lucario. Now, the lucario was at its mercy. The alolan ninetales would shoot an ICE BEAM towards the lucario in an attempt to deal heavy damage, if not, FREEZE it.

"Heavenly Father! Punish their souls with eternal damnation!"

He spoke, laughing right after, his madness slowly seeping through.

tl;dr:
hippowdon uses CRUNCH in an attempt to bite down and drag the nidoqueen as it was slammed with SUPERPOWER.
hippowdon uses DIG immediately after hitting the ground. It aimed for the basement, digging as fast as it could.
alolan ninetales sent out.
impact from EXTREME SPEED hits Lucius and sends him flying to the side a few feet.
makes his doublade emit an ear piercing METAL SOUND by scratching both blades.
alolan ninetales would revenge his owner using ICE BEAM against the lucario in hopes of freezing it.

Most of the early birds were already in the middle of battle; two in particular were dealing with some manic Rocket priest on the ground. God, what happened around here?[break][break]

They sail over the fissures and earthquakes, Hugo’s LEVITATE naturally sparing them both from the earth’s destruction. But a screeching cry breaks through the atmosphere, disrupting the dragon’s focus. It still lands at the very entrance of the Power Plant, but seems shaken; its fortitude against special attacks had lowered. They continue nonetheless, for Vera is working against the clock towards one primary goal: Ensuring the Power Plant did not fail. Her frantic steps are followed by her dragon as they enter the first floor.[break][break]

There’s an odd scent to the air—residue of sleep powder, she realizes. She’s quick to cover her nose and mouth, grateful that the worst of the spores didn’t seem to be around. She spots kim cole-essam and his pokemon creating an… evacuation pile? ”Wow, you’ve made quick work of these folks. Good job.” She’s more relieved than impressed; thank god people were doing their jobs. Evacuations weren’t her assignment, but were still of great concern.[break][break]

Then she hears the agonized cries, sees the obvious signs of poison on the bodies and the barbs sticking into flesh, and it seemed the perpetrators had already moved on.[break][break]

Sons of bitches.[break][break]

She releases her Dewgong. “AQUA RING, stat!” Direct orders. Pearl is new, has not made the same connection with her as the rest, but does her job and aims the rings of healing water at the affected. It’s not a permanent solution, but it could give them more time. “Mind adding them to the pile? Sorry sweetheart, I’d help, but shit is happening down there.” She says to kim cole-essam . She doesn't wait for a response before continuing onwards, burying the guilt with thoughts of saving the city.[break][break]

She switches Pearl with her Metagross, Amos, as a precaution. The steel type was better equipped with navigating the terrain. She goes down to further into the Plant, and to her horror is greeted by more victims of attack. Workers were slumped over the floors and against walls, blood trickling down their ears. She follows the trail of blood, bodies, and wreckage to the next basement floor.[break][break]

It doesn’t take long before she sees @trash walking ahead. Her steps slow into a silent pattern, brows knitting in suspicion as she tries to determine if the stranger is an ally or a foe. They seemed to be accompanied by a trio of pokemon: Noivern, Dusclops, and Exploud. A Noivern and an Exploud.[break][break]

A beam of red light flanks Hugo’s right, Amos ready at his left. She’s no doubt caused a stir, but the commands come easily: Wilhelmina uses LIGHT SCREEN over their team and SHADOW BALL against the Dusclops, Hugo blasts the Noivern with DRAGON PULSE, and Amos comes after the Exploud with HAMMER ARM.

nidoqueen edges ahead in her battle as she succeeds with her slam on the hippowdon. she has no room for complacency, not even when she feels the hippowdon buckle under her strength. she sees it turning, feels its weight shift so she anticipates an attack. before its CRUNCH can latch on to drag her underneath the earth, she releases her grip and sidesteps, allowing the hippowdon to DIG freely. she leaves it for now, deciding it best to not follow after it.

he wants to go deeper, to take control of the situation but he has to be mindful of her. her lucario's busy manhandling some chump and while lucario has the situation under control, he decides to give it a hand.

"target."

the ICE BEAM from the alolan ninetales provide a perfect cover for escavalier to engage. shielded by the brunt of the blast, escavalier charges over and attempts to ram his IRON HEAD into the body of the ninetales, pinning it to the ground. boosted by an earlier SWORDS DANCE, he looks to kill as he turns his attention to its trainer with the doublades. METAL SOUND doesn't slow him down as he attempts to slash across the man's chest with an X-SCISSOR.

people are flooding all around him but he has his priorities. he knows his targets. he sees one on the metang; a familiar head of orange. the other rocket on it is mere collateral.

"target."

a STONE EDGE bursts forth from the ground, spiking upwards as it looks to slam against the body of the metang to send the rockets off. nidoking's prior FOCUS ENERGY makes the attack that much deadlier. POISON STINGS follow the attack, aimed directly for the orange-haired rocket.

nidoqueen avoids the crunch and starts running towards the power plant.
escavalier IRON HEADS lucius hallows' alolan ninetales before trying to X-SCISSOR lucius himself.
nidoking STONE EDGES @ezra's metang, then POISON STINGS ezra herself.

the lucario twists towards the alolan ninetales and meets the ice beam side-ways with ease, crushing the ice with his steel-plated body. the metal sound is still piercingly unpleasant, but he's familiar enough with the resonance that he mostly brushes off the effect.

he pauses momentarily as back-up in the form of nikolai's pokemon arrives, surveying the assault on the alolan ninetales with a long glance, before turning back to the trainer. he is battered, injured, and that barely seems to slow him. he fights the instinct to return to his master because she is too far behind for comfort, and lunges forward with two searing aura spheres - one for the trainer, one for the alolan ninetales. both crackling with energy and seeking to break bone.

persephone isn't sure why she flinches at seeing her pokemon like that, isn't sure why it still surprises her.

she squares her jaw, takes NIKOLAI PETROV 's wrist lightly and tugs at him to move forward. the other league forces were arriving and they had no right to overtake them in the vanguard. after a moment, she pauses to release a drampa and calls for a pre-emptive safeguard on the pair's pokemon and the handful of workers escaping the building.

as the grunt takes his hand, ezra pulls her swiftly up onto the metang with him. with one hand his grip remains firm on the pokeball from before, but his other arm finds its place around her midsection, stabilizing them both.

the long haired man poses a distraction whether he means to or not. his terms are those that ezra silently accepts. it's no truce, but as long as he stays out of the way, he isn't an obstacle that requires tackling. it's not much longer before a woman joins him — reinforcement — further cementing the desire to move ahead. patricia responds with words, while he opts for action.

with great haste, they proceed towards the stairs. they don't get very far, however.

stone edge erupts beneath them. metang rises in an attempt to evade, but the attack catches an edge nonetheless, sending the steel type spinning and the two atop it hurtling towards the ground. the sudden assault is disorienting, but reflex kicks in exactly as he'd counted on. he'd been clutching a particular pokeball for a reason: aegislash manifests only to immediately be confronted with the full weight and momentum of not just ezra, but patricia as well, still smothered in his embrace. it's levitating mass isn't enough to stop them from barrelling through the unstable flooring, but in combination with a quick application of IRON DEFENSE, it absorbs a great deal of shock and speed as the two crash into the level below.

the fall leaves him dazed to say the very least. the recognition of the imminent threat at hand keeps him on his guard, but he's still not quite quick enough in noticing the rain of darts that pour down in follow-up. as soon as they register, he rolls, and in one energetic movement aegislash is above them again. the majority of the hits are negated entirely, but numerous are able to catch his shoulder before he's fully covered.

it hurts, and more than it should. he doesn't cry out, but he falters for just a moment before regaining his composure. pain would linger, harmless though inconvenient — this isn't the worst he'd ever felt by a long shot — but poisoning is a risk he would rather not take.

"grunt— flower girl," careful not to call her by name in such a setting, he directs his speech at the young woman beside him, but his eyes don't move from the floor above. "i need healing. upper right arm, poison sting." the immediate threat within the environment has not been mitigated, and without vision on the outside, there's no way of reliably knowing what else might be on its way. one level higher, where it had finally stabilized in the air, metang retaliates with PSYCHIC. still not as reassuring as he would like.

he was pursued, injured, and more league officials are arriving. confidence isn't yet shaken, but as time passes, pressure is rising. they need to do this as quickly as possible. fortunately, their graceless earlier descent has now given him an idea. one hand keeps aegislash near, while the other seeks out yet another ball.

"onix: through the floor! locate the generator!"

there is no doubt in his mind about who had been the one to attack them. that certainty and the circumstance at hand has touched his approach with alacrity. the faster he accomplishes rocket's objective, the faster he can move on to his own.

- NIKOLAI PETROV's nidoking sends them tumbling with stone edge, follows up with poison sting. ez + patricia knocked thru floor, fucked bc earthquake (thnx luci). ezra sustains damage from poison sting, requests patricia's help
- patricia doyle: protected and kept near with sunshine's permission
- aegislash: iron defense (1/2), being put to use as a shield, currently on b2 with ez + patricia
- metang: psychic (1/2) on nidoking, trying to deal damage and yeet it outside if possible, b1 (ground level)

kim cole-essam says 'fuck you' to everyone and just focuses on getting scientists out by his torterra that WITHDRAWS twice. volcorona PROTECTS their escape.
patricia doyle joins @ezra on her metang and starts to float down towards 2b. she quietly asks kim cole-essam to help the injured workers - what a saint! too bad she's a rocket.

lucius hallows's hippowdon is busy dealing with NIKOLAI PETROV's nidoqueen outside: it CRUNCHES then attempts to DIG underneath the earth. he's unable to defend himself against persephone amavi's lucario's attack and breaks a few bones in the process. wow! his double METAL SOUNDS the near vicinity as his alolan ninetales attempts an ICE BEAM on the lucario.
Vera Lindt joins the event! ilu sleepy finally. she compliments kim cole-essam on evacuation efforts as she lands on 1b. dewgong uses AQUA RING on the poison workers, then gets switched out for metagross. vera heads further down only to notice the worker's ears are bleeding from BOOMBURST (:monkas:).[break][break]

engages in battle with @trash. her delphox uses LIGHT SCREEN then SHADOW BALLS @trash's dusclops. hydreigon uses DRAGON PULSE on noivern. metagross uses HAMMER ARM on exploud. GET HIM, VERA ILU!!!!
NIKOLAI PETROV's nidoqueen avoids being CRUNCHED. his escavalier, boosted by SWORDS DANCE, attempts to IRON HEAD lucius hallows's alolan ninetales. escavalier also turns to X-SCISSOR across lucius's chest. this is still kindergarten shit btw bloody, so you're lucky.[break][break]

nidoking, boosted by FOCUS ENERGY, attempts to STONE EDGE @ezra's metang to fling the humans off. he follows it with a POISON STING targeted at ezra.
persephone amavi's lucario crushes the incoming ICE BEAM and endures the METAL SOUND with his steel body. as nikolai arrives as back up, her lucario targets lucius hallows and his alolan ninetales with an AURA SPHERE each. she calls upon her drampa for a preemptive SAFEGUARD after pulling NIKOLAI PETROV forward with her.
@ezra gets hit hard af and falls down to 2b. arm is poisoned oh nooooo. tries to yeet NIKOLAI PETROV's nidoking out with PSYCHIC. asks patricia doyle to heal her.

Vera Lindt: your dewgong's AQUA RING indubitably saves some of the workers. the derived toxins can be seen floating in the globules of water.
kim cole-essam: your efforts are evacuating the scientists are successful! you get them outside safely, but there are more still trapped and/or injured inside.
@trash: you make your way down to 2b. here, the anatomy of the power plant becomes more apparent. on this level, through the grated flooring, you can see the massive generator. four large cords are hooked up to a large machine with voltorbs and electrodes funneling their charge through them to the generator.
@ezra: your onix DIGS down into the basement and locates one large generator (also see above), whirring and purring with electricity and life. in a similar vein, lucius hallows's hippowdon emerges at the same location. there are only two guards left.
NIKOLAI PETROV and persephone amavi: chaos erupts around you and before you're able to head deeper down. between lucius hallows and two more rocket grunts, you remain preoccupied.

it looks as though the tides are turning as league officials make their entrance, cementing themselves in the thick of the fray as they look to overpower rocket forces, though the majority have already descended towards the basement.[break][break]

with the generator now in sight, rocket's mission is right there for the taking.

The hippowdon entered the basement with an earth-rattling stomp as it gave a friendly groan towards @ezra 's onyx which it instinctively identified as its comrade. With the generator only inches away, victory was inevitable. The hippowdon recalled his master's words, to do what it takes, even if it meant to sarcrifice itself for the cause.

Two guards stood on its way. The hippo made use of its SAND TOMB, trapping both guards in a confined sandstorm of their own, then, it would rush forth. In one fell swoop, with both guards aligned, the hippowdon would then CRUNCH on both guards at the same time. While the electric pokemon nearby powering the plant might release their electric attacks towards the hippo, it would remain unaffected.

This gave the onyx a perfect opportunity to finally end it all and destroy the generator once and for all.

Meanwhile, back on the surface, Lucius had his own problem.

In an attempt to pin down his alolan ninetales, NIKOLAI PETROV 's escavalier rushed towards it with its IRON HEAD. Ninetales was having none of it though as it would exploit escavalier's straight, unidirectional charge to swiftly step over towards the side, avoiding the pin and the iron head in its totality. The escavalier would, however, land an X-SCISSOR on Lucius' chest using both its lances. A cross-shaped wound was now present on his chest, the pain made him wince, though it was expected. It was a deliberate choice to allow for the escavalier's attack to hit.

Lucius had then let go of his doublade, allowing it to levitate on its own. He'd then grab the escavalier by its lance-like arms and extend his right leg out, his foot flat against the escavalier's fleshy torso. The doublade would help, wrapping its tassel-like arms on escavalier's lance-like arms. Lucius would then proceed to pull on its lance-like arms and push on its torso using his foot, keeping the escavalier steady in front of him.

What for you may ask? Why, for lucario's AURA SPHERE of course. He aimed the escavalier towards the direction of the AURA SPHERE, making it a meat shield to take the more threatening attack.

Alolan ninetales, on the other hand, had its own AURA SPHERE coming straight for it. Looking to overpower the attack, the alolan ninetales then shoots a HYPER BEAM directly towards the incoming projectile, ripping through the AURA SPHERE. Though the HYPER BEAM won't stop there, it would keep on going, traversing its way towards persephone amavi 's lucario.

tl;dr:
hippowdon uses SAND TOMB to trap both guards in a confined sandstorm.
hippowdon then aims to CRUNCH on both guards, the SAND TOMB only there to give the hippo some time.
alolan ninetales dodges that pitiful charging IRON HEAD, gtfo here with that shit.
Lucius gets hit by the X-SCISSOR, ouch, new scar.
sike! it was all planned. Lucius + doublade pins the escavalier in front of Lucius, using the escavalier to block the AURA SPHERE.
alolan ninetales rips through the AURA SPHERE with a HYPER BEAM which is now headed towards lucario.

He had half a mind to tell those that told him to keep doing exactly what he was doing to shut up and either help him or don’t even bother talking, but he was too busy doing his job to stop for a second and relay that to them. Didn’t matter one way or another, they already had left so they were out of his mind. He wanted to stop these assholes as much as the next guy but with as many injuries as they made along the way, he assumed those already fighting would have handled them by now.

As for these scientist, the more he pulled out, the worse they all seemed. He’d sigh, grabbing a pokeball and sending out a gothorita, her eyes locking with her trainer for a brief moment before she looked over at the pile of injured people he had piled up, a look of surprise in her eyes as she looked back to the man. He would return a shrug and she would use psychic to lay them side by side, casting a heal pulse on them after she had organized the mess of people.

Meanwhile, Kim would ignore whatever else was happening to continue providing aid to those in need. And with the torterra returning to gather more, he would lie as many scientist onto its back as he could, ordering the volcarona to string shot harnesses together to keep them situated as well as load more onto the torterra, sending it off as he continued to escort/drag more scientist away from the carnage

• sideeyes all league members as well as that one rocket

• sends out gothorita who uses PSYCHIC to organize the pain pile and HEAL PULSE to... y'know, heal

• torterra returns and kim loads more scientist onto the turt with the help of volcaronas STRING SHOT then sends them off again

edit: forgot to add that he sent another load of scientist up/showed ones that could walk the way to the exit

the descent to the basement is a success.

onix recognizes the hippowdon's allegiance immediately in its action on their common goal. with the workers subdued even temporarily, and its master's words at the forefront of its mind, it sets eyes on the generator and knows what it's to do. taking advantage of its electric immunity, it experiences little opposition as it approaches its goal. with bind, it wraps around the main body of the structure, its massive form disturbing the various cords before it even has a chance to do what it means to do: crush.

- onix uses bind (1/2) to fuck the generator
- i'm sure rocket can repair it it's fine
- lucius hallows: thanks man! too bad you're gonna die
- inb4 explode or something noodles you fuck

the rocket is a pest.

lucius hallows thinks he sees the outcome of the battle; thinks he predicts correctly, but little does he know he's still in preschool. to think that he can jump up to the big leagues with the rest of the big kids is simply foolish.

he will be the cause of his own demise.

escavalier allows himself to get grabbed by a simple maneuver because he knows he can take lucario's AURA SPHERE; the two have fought once before so he's familiar with the pain that comes when the attack connects against his chest. the impact drives him backwards into the rocket but it's his weight that pins the rocket to the back of the wall and onto the floor.

when the AURA SPHERE subsides, escavalier is swift with a REVERSAL. suddenly, he turns his entire body and attempts to ram his lance into the rocket's bloodied chest, right into his heart.

but wait, there's more.

the rocket will come to terms with his death when nidoqueen makes her return to the battle. her EARTH POWER creates a spike that bursts from the ground, right below the rocket, intending to stab right through his puny heart.

a strong PROTECT blocks the doublade from its trainer.

but wait, there's still more! wow!

nidoking's STONE EDGE does the exact same thing but this attack looks to carry the rocket up into the ceiling to crush his body into a bloody pancake.

nikolai doesn't even need to give it his attention. not a single shred of it. instead, he's focused on the two rocket grunts that decide it's strategically viable to charge at him bearing knives, of all things.

click, click.

nidoking might be preoccupied with trying to crush a rocket but it doesn't stop him from summoning another STONE EDGE to take out one of the rockets. he tugs persephone amavi backwards as they practically swap positions. with him now in the front, there's nothing to stop him from intercepting the remaining rocket grunt.

a slash to the arm is the price it takes to disarm the rocket. it's a short struggle but nikolai ends up on top like he always does. with the knife now in his hands, he doesn't hesitate to ram it right into the rocket's neck.

@raid

escavalier takes the AURA SPHERE and uses the momentum plus his weight to pin lucius hallows down to the floor.
escavalier then turns with REVERSAL to attempt to stab lucius in his heart.
nidoqueen returns and attempts to use EARTH POWER to create an earth spike to stab lucius through his heart.
nidoqueen also uses PROTECT to create a barrier to separate lucius and his pokemon.
nidoking uses STONE EDGE to try and crush lucius against the ceiling of the power plant.
nikolai does some extra shit with persephone amavi don't bother reading.
