words spoken to Vera Lindt and ones met with very little appreciation for their intent. still, the question lingers as slateport becomes over ran. the rockets swarm like rats and the populace is fraught with terror. it's a scene fernando knows well, one orchestrated by the very man who claims to despise it. discord comes in the sound of screams and it's about time for the conductor to take the grand stage.
it's about time for fernando to cement his place in hoenn. it's guardian angel and grim reaper. the one to kill it so he can save it. all so that he can further entrench his influence on the league's political sphere. dahlia goode will have no choice but to accept his bid for councilmen. actually, after this, will she even keep her position? the strife that comes from bickering, from the in-fighting, from the difference in opinion of how they operate will finally climax. @yiannis will make his move and @alexander will provide the reluctant consent that unseats her.
@ainsley has proven useful. cornering her has allowed him an in, a source that keeps him informed. the invasion plans, given to all those expected to take part, to execute tonight's besieging, are second nature to him. they coincide with his own plans and will serve as the blueprint for his most audacious scheme. that's what allows him to set up. and, as NIKOLAI PETROV will soon come to know, there is no graver mistake than to give a man with unlimited resources and an indomitable will. he's sociopathic. he should be locked up but the merits of his birth grant him a privilege that rewards the world. and he will pillage it, to take from it without denial.

famous last words from @andromeda before he takes the plunge. that time, he has escaped with his life. had it been luck? perhaps. but there would be no luck today. fernando would not allow them the chance. take no risk, not on something important, never on something of this scale. hopefully, zeke rainey learns. fernando never gambles and that means no loose ends.
the people of slateport will soon know the answer. nothing outside of divine will can keep them safe. yet, none of them know of the peril that looms above. the dark of night, the cover that rocket uses to infiltrate the coast line, shields his grand design. from afar, they climb, far off the coast and out of sight. by the time the town is embellished with activity is when they approach, several hundred feet in the air. unopposed, they're allowed to settle appropriately.
