The more King spoke, the more he wanted to strangle the man. But before he could get the satisfaction of doing so, a pair of mysterious Pokemon barreled through. One of them looked like an Entei.

"You got lucky, Weyland! Toodles!", Dorian called out to him, before chasing after the Gouging Fire, leaving him and his Lucario to deal with their own problem.

Catching up to the beast was not a problem, thanks to his Genesect having the ability to move at Extreme Speeds. And though subduing it was a monumental task in of itself, the former Beast handily subdued the Entei-like Pokemon.

As he held the Pokeball that held the ancient creature, Dorian grinned. "Talk about a silver lining~", he remarked, chuckling to himself.

Surely, the researchers, bar Xenon Antheil, would appreciate such a find.

Rescue Rampage

Dorian's own Salazzle slunk back into the foliage as the footsteps of the got closer. The White Salazzle attempted to sneak into the camp, in order to reunite with Dorian. She could only hope Ryker's Salazzle followed her lead.

Burny Birdy directed Dorian to the lockup. His Genesect made quick work of the door, allowing Dorian to quickly burst in, and retrieve any gear he could find, hastily throwing it into a sack.

"Burny Birdy, fly this back to the camp!", Dorian ordered the Talonflame.

The Talonflame did as she was instructed, grabbing onto the sack with her talons, before flying off, likely after Ryker and the rescued prisoners.

As the Regirock closed in on him, Prince Beepboop the Sixth folded into their Flight Mode, allowing Dorian to grab on, before it flew him out of the path of the beast.

"Says the man who couldn't even get the job done.", Dorian hissed, his mood soured at the mention of dead children. The one thing about Kanto the Mad Dog actually regretted. "You had your one shot at Matias, and you blew it. Now here you are, having to scurry in the shadows, like the bottom feeder you are. At least I have a home, something you'll never have again!", spat Dorian.

"If that's the case, then take your shot! That fragile ego of yours needs some padding, right?", Dorian taunted, gesturing the man to come at him.

Suddenly, thunderous footsteps could be heard closing in.

The hound would find the detainees, including Takashi and Ogita, sitting in a holding area, their wrists bound in front of them with zip tie handcuffs. As the Rockets wandered in, duo looked up to see Dorian.

"Oi, boss!", Takashi called out.

"Told ya he was coming for us!", Ogita remarked, a grin on his face.

The Genesect aided the Mabosstiff in freeing the prisoners of their bonds. Their bladed appendages made it easy for them to slice through the plastic handcuffs binding them.

Suddenly, thunderous footsteps could be heard in the distance.

"Ryker, see to it that the prisoners get out! I'll retrieve their gear!", Dorian told the assassin, offering him two Pokeballs, both containing his Charizards. "They should be able to ferry the group out of here collectively. I've got my own ride!", Dorian hurriedly continued, before making his way outside.

Thankfully, his Talonflame already identified where they were keeping gear and Pokemon locked up.

Cull the Horde (AZ Excursion E)

Eventually, the horde became whittled down by the teamwork of the two Rockets. Being attacked on two fronts by their powerhouses was too much, even for the Paradox horde. Their attempt to scatter and retreat in either direction was cut off by the Rock Slide walls formed by Dorian's Pokemon.

The scattered hordes were easy enough to pick off. Lava Plume consumed many of them, while more Rock Slides from the duo crushed them. Dorian's own Iron Moth joined Geralds in bombarding them with Fiery Dance fire. And finally, the Red Genesect wiped out several with a sweep of its Techno Blast.

Dorian laughed as he took in the slaughter. "What a show!", Dorian cheered, a manic grin plastered across his features.

As Dorian took in the flash of madness in the detective's eyes, Dorian grinned back to him. A mutual desire to end the other. At least he'd make this entertaining.

The Houndoom looks on in disbelief as the Houndstone gets back to its feet. Despite this, the hellhound stays focused, waiting for the beast to emerge from the Phantom Force.

Dorian watched as the Glalie underwent Mega Evolution, its jaw opening up, until it cracked the shell around it, unhinging the jaw.

"Not bad.", Dorian remarked. "But not good enough!"

The Genesect zips out of the path of the Blizzard in a burst of Extreme Speed. Once they stop, the Genesect locked onto the Glalie.

Suddenly, an Earthquake shakes up the entire field, getting the attention of Bony Buddy, and causing Dorian to have to brace himself.

"Evidence tends to point to the contrary.", Dorian sassed at the man. Especially if they had to go through the League.

"Don't you worry, my washed up friend, the feeling is mutual!", Dorian exclaimed.

The Houndoom allowed the Houndstone to get in close to him. Bony Buddy allowed the beast to rough him up, before he attempted to wrap his tail around its bony neck, and slam it into a nearby rock. A brutal form of Comeuppance, if there ever was any.

"Call it a treat, for all the hard work I've put in!", Dorian grinned, watching as he brought out a Glalie.

Dorian slid of the back of the Genesect, allowing it to unfold into its Combat Mode. The Genesect fired off a Techno Blast towards the duo. Thanks to the Silvally Memory inserted into its Drive, the attack was a Fire-type attack.

"Yes, now you're just an aging has-been, operating out of a strip mall, like a common charlatan!", Dorian added.

"Matter of perspective, I suppose.", Dorian chuckled, sizing up the man.

When the Houndstone reemerged, the Houndoom fired off a Dark Pulse towards the undead hound as quickly as he could. Unfortunately, the hellhound could not stop the Houndstone from knocking his master off the rock.

As Dorian fell from the rock, the Mad Dog opened up his special Pokeball, revealing a Red Genesect. Immediately, the Genesect folded into its Flight Mode, scooping up Dorian.

AZ EXCURSION C: Dorian vs Gwyar

"The very same! A pleasure to beat ya!", Dorian responded to the man's assessment with an unnerving cheerfulness.

Funny as it was, Dorian's facelift was an involuntary process. An explosion had ripped off the half of his face with the infamous scar. Thanks to John Sullivan's powers, Dorian's face healed without his old burn scar. As for how old he looked, growing out his beard, and dying his hair grey did wonders to make him look much older than he did. Came in handy for not only passing himself off as someone else, but allowing dumber foes to underestimate him.

"Oooh, feeling particularly gallant today?", Dorian teased. "Not even those fools in Interpol could touch me! What hope do you have to win?", he inquired, a cocky grin on his features.

"The formerly illustrious Detective Sokolov. I wish I could say it's a pleasure, but I couldn't sell that lie to save my life.", Dorian responded to the man, a look of scorn on his face.

"I disagree. Most men are a dime a dozen. Glorified, whinier cattle. But men with talent that means something, they're like diamonds in the rough.", Dorian retorted.

Dorian chuckled as Nikita asked his question. "Not on my life.", Dorian responded, eying the man across from him, while his Houndoom listened out for the reemergence of the Houndstone.

"Then you haven't encountered a Rocket like me!", the Mad Dog declared, confident as ever. "I've barbequed many-a pig in my career. And I'll take great pleasure in roasting you, Sir Oinks-a-Lot", Dorian jeered at the Galarian.

Cull the Horde (AZ Excursion E)

The Magmortar opened up the assault by unleashing a Lava Plume towards the horde of Paradox Pokemon. As the group of Ancient and Futuristic Pokemon were reeling from the attack, the Emboar called down a Rock Slide to crush them. Following this, the Incineroar jumped in, taking out as many as he could with his Darkest Lariat.

That was when the 'flight crew' came around from the back. The Charizard called down a Rock Slide, in order to preemptively cut off their escape. The Genesect began to attack more of the Paradox Horde with its Extreme Speed. Finally, Solar Panel Steve blasted the horde with a Sludge Wave.

Dorian grabbed onto the Gallade soon after Ryker did.

Upon emerging in front of the guards, Dorian got to work. Utilizing the element of surprise, Dorian quickly took out the League guards on his side, striking them down with a pipe he had on him. A familiar sight to someone like Ryker, as it was his favored method of killing his enemies, during their time in the Orre Region.

Once the guards were taken out, Dorian sent out his Red Genesect. "Use Extreme Speed to wipe out the Leaguers in the tent!", Dorian commanded.

The Red Genesect rushed into the tent. Using Extreme Speed to zip around the tent, the Genesect stabbed the League officials with his claws, its blows quick and efficient between each of the officials.

After a moment, Dorian moseyed into the tent, to take in the aftermath of the carnage. And to find the prisoners, including Takashi and Ogita.

The Houndoom is visibly annoyed as the Houndstone disappears into the Phantom Force. The hellhound remains on guard, knowing the undead dog could strike at any moment.

Dorian steps out from behind the rock, glowering at the detective.

"You know, men like that don't grow on trees. Nor are they cheap.", Dorian snarled at Nikki.

Dorian had his hand positioned at his belt of Pokeballs, ready to act on a moment's notice.
