A horde of Paradox Pokemon were advancing through Area Zero, threatening to spill over into the Giant Chasm. It wouldn't have been Rocket's problem, had one of their outposts not been in the crossfire of their parade.

So here Dorian was, ready to wipe them out, before they got the chance.

As Dorian made his way through the caves, he'd spot not a Paradox Pokemon, but a familiar face. An irritant who was well known in Sootopolis.

"This day just keeps getting better!", Dorian remarked, a bloodthirsty grin on his features.

"Just take it easy, yeah? Region needs people like you.", the man remarked.

"I'd better be off. It was good to see you again, Captain Nariya.", the 'businessman' told the Ranger, before walking off into the jungle.

With that little detour concluded, one he almost regretted getting himself involved in, Dorian continued to search for the beast that he spotted earlier. The one that bore a resemblance to Entei. One he couldn't go on without having for himself.

Dorian grinned as he heard the man's plan for the guards outside. Teleport right in their faces, take them out quickly with the element of surprise.

As for the guards inside.

"I've got something positively ideal for clearing out the tent~", Dorian whispered to the assassin, with sadistic glee. He began to play with the Pokeball containing his secret weapon. The culmination of all his hard work as a Rocket.

Dorian chortled. "Someone grow a spine, since you last came to us? I remember how you, with your tail between your legs, pathetically begged us to help you deal with Matias. How willing you were to sell out your own comrades, allowing us to set the foundation to oppress Kanto!", Dorian retorted.

"I never liked you, either. Never really cared for traitors, to be honest!", Dorian growled back at the man. "When I'm done with you, I'll take you back to Kanto, to parade around the Region! 'The man who sold you all out!', an effigy for the cattle back home to be outraged at!"

With an evil, almost demonic grin, Dorian sent out four more Pokemon. An Emboar, Incineroar, Magmortar, and a Red Genesect.

"Mister Burns, Solar Panel Steve, Prince Beepboop the Sixth, you three will be going around the horde, attacking them from the back. Use a Rock Slide to prevent their retreat, Mister Burns!", Andrew told the three flight-capable Pokemon. "Porkchop, Mister Bigglesworth, Smoochie Duckie, you three will be with us on the front lines! Show them no mercy!", Andrew told his Pokemon.

The flying trio immediately took to the tunnels, snaking around to get to the horde's rear. Meanwhile, the trio of land-based Pokemon readied themselves for battle. The Emboar and Incineroar duo Bulked Up in preparation for the fight. Meanwhile, the old Magmortar simply waited. Once the horde closed in, the Magmortar blasted a Smokescreen across the battlefield.

"Charge!", Dorian practically roared.

In the aftermath of the battle, Dorian took notice to the state Shalin was in. Despite the benefits of her Sygna Suit, the Kommo-o's vibrations clearly took their toll on her. Perhaps if the Kommo-o was her partner, she'd have been better able to endure the effects of the Kommo-o's attacks.

But most importantly, it opened Dorian's eyes to a new avenue of punishment. A new, horrific way to torture and slaughter his foes.

"Of course, Captain Nariya. I'm always happy to help out whenever I can!", 'Jason' responded to her cheerfully.

"Say, are you alright?", he asked her.

As the Emboar got to work helping the Kommo-o, Dorian slowly began to place special earplugs into his ears. Ever since his previous encounters with not only Shalin's Pokemon, but 's Pyroars, Dorian made it a point to invest in hearing protection.

As the cave opened up, they'd come across a trio of Scream Tail. Though the hearing protection helped mitigate the effects of their Singing, he knew it was only a matter of time before it caught up with him.

"Roar!", Dorian commanded.

The Emboar let out an ear-piercing Roar, one which drowned out the singing of the trio. To support the Emboar, Dorian brought out his Pyroar, Sir Fluffsworth Hotman.

"Hyper Voice!"

The Pyroar opened his maw, unleashing a brutal, deafening roar towards the Scream Tail trio.

Dorian reached for the Pokeball containing his Talonflame. But before he could even finish deploying the bird, it was too late. Zev summoned a crystalline tendril, which ripped the boy's shoulder, and sending him plummeting back down to the earth.

The shrieks and sobs filled Dorian's ears. His heart filled with sorrow and dread for the youngsters. The only consolation being that the boy survived, and with medical treatment, he'd likely be fine.

As much as the Mad Dog hated the fact that Zev harmed the boy, he realized that confronting him over it was a terrible idea. Logically, what was he going to do against someone like Zev? The man was not only a skilled fighter in his own right, but outranked Dorian. And that wasn't even factoring in his newfound powers. Such an undertaking was pointless, and downright suicidal.

"They should've listened.", Dorian remarked plainly, before walking back to continue creating barricades around the tree.

The white Salazzle almost chortled at the fool who attempted to grab them. As more foolish soldiers attempted to stop them, thus becoming poisoned, the Salazzle drenched a group of them in her venom, weakening them further.

As Rangers and Officers descended upon the Salazzle duo, Dorian quickly spotted a tent where a small group of Rangers were gathered, guarding the single entrance, as if their lives depended on it. Dorian's Talonflame, to confirm, landed on the roof of the tent, perching herself up there.

"I assume there will be more guards inside.", he whispered to Ryker.

Eventually, Dorian came across a collapsed cave. The cries within were muffled, but clearly the source of the commotion.

He'd have walked away, and let nature sort itself out, had it not been for the presence of the familiar Ranger. Interestingly, she had a Kommo-o, which took advantage of its ability to vibrate, in order to clear up the debris blocking up the cave.

Wanting to learn more from her, Dorian decided to help her. Bringing out his Emboar, Dorian pointed to the cave-in. "Help the Ranger out.", he told Porkchop.

The Emboar looked a bit confused, but complied. The muscular pig began to smash away at the debris with Hammer Arm.

As the Salazzle duo slithered off to get the attention of the guards, the Shiny Salazzle cooked up a Nasty Plot in her mind. Upon getting in position, the white Salazzle proceeded to fire off Toxic globs at League personnel at the front gate. Weaken the guards, and get the attention of the others inside the camp.

Dorian, for his part, followed Ryker's lead quietly. Despite the fury he felt towards the League guards, and their capture of his associates, he kept his cool. But in the back of his mind, he cooked up all the ways he'd slaughter these pigs, for what they did.

Dorian knew there was no point in trying to fool the man. The Lucario alone likely sniffed him out as Dorian Westcliff, a Beast who served under . A man renowned for his barbarism, for the many atrocities he committed in the name of Rocket.

"Oh, but this is unknown territory, my good friend! There's so much to explore! So much to discover!", Dorian told the man.

The Houndoom readied himself, should a fight break out.

"Even then, what's it to an ungrateful traitor like you, Weyland?", Dorian inquired. "It's not like interfering with me will curry any favor with the League, not after how you sold out your own brothers in arms!", the Mad Dog jeered.

A mysterious cry resonated from down below. It was one Dorian heard throughout the day, but one he still failed to pin down.

Dorian, under the guise of Jason Jaeger, went to explore the Giant Chasm. His cover story was that he had a passion for exploring unknown territory, and that the Giant Chasm of Unova was one of his favorite places. So naturally, he'd want to see a second Chasm up close.

As Dorian walked alongside his Houndoom, he heard the cries of a distressed Pokemon. Normally, Dorian was content to ignore such things, but the whining was so grating, that Dorian couldn't help but investigate.
