What time is it? It's depair time.[break][break]

Someone thought making a Bullet Hell challenge would be a smart idea, but they forgot that certain cases could happen. And Balder was here to show her mistakes. One could almost say it was his duty as the previous Gym Leader of Sootopolis. The man appeared out of a portal of darkness in front of the new gym and walked in slowly.[break][break]

"Balder Schwartz, I got a gym challenge with Lady Melody. May you point me to the proper location?" he asked the clerk at the entrance. After receiving his directions, the man headed to the room where the challenge would happen. Upon arrival, he unleashed an armada of baby pokemons onto the field, who went to play at one hand of the room while Balder was removing his coat and top, waiting for the Gym leader to show.

Revenge was nearing. Their destruction was nigh...[break][break]

But now wasn't the time to go after them. Things had to be done in order. And with the shard that was given to him, with the message from Dahlia, as he departed Evergrande, he at least knew a part of what he had to do. Disembarking Celesteela at Bay Level A, the Alolan looked at what was happening: the riots and chaos covering this city he once protected.[break][break]

No use voicing his thoughts on their stupidity. The man looked over at Pokkenger and threw a communicator at him. "There's 2 channels to it: direct line to me, and communication to all of league. Stay in touch at all times. And do not, I repeat, DO NOT do anything stupid. If it gets rough, contact me."[break][break]

Balder turned and faced the Silver Spire. A place full of memories for him. he then pressed the communicator upon his hear. "Balder here. I'm gonna light the place up in a bit. Get your sunglasses ready." He then called His Togekiss on the field, and the Shadow Shieldon emerged from a Shadow Ball, latching on Balder's arm. Both the Togekiss and the Celesteela prepared themselves with their status boosting moves, in case chaos came to them.[break]

It seemed like they knew things would get real. While one of them smirked at the sight of the Heatran, Lars wasn't too pleased with this, if the bridge pinching was revealing anything. But at least, they all focused on the Heatran instead of keeping in mind the threat that Zeraora could be.[break][break]

The battle began, the Gengar sliding into the darkness whereas the Malamar was charging forward, using the typical Contrary tactic: Superpower. It also helped that Heatran had a certain weakness to fighting types too, so it was a logical choice. However...[break][break]

A snap of his fingers was enough of a trigger. The Zeraora leaped forward, fists covered in plasma and aiming to stop the Malamar in its track, to take the hit for the Heatran while dishing out his own attack. "Inferno, trap it." The grumpy Heatran grunted before stomping the ground, sending his energy through the sand before a tornado of lava emerged under the Malamar to try and trap it.

The same reason as him huh? Quite a coincidence. And an understandable one too. This region had so much danger and chaos around, they needed to get all the strength they could. And if planting carrots in shady places was all they needed to gain a strong ally? Then so be it.[break][break]

"Well, from what I've seen, they don't just look powerful. They got the strength to back their looks from what I experienced." While he hadn't seen the other horse himself, he had read the reports, and seen what this one was capable of. Still, for these creatures to appear now of all times... The alolan proceeded to stretch, before looking back at Lulu. "By the way, do you still dance?" A completely unexpected question. But it had been something they had done often, back in the days. The Lucario was still down. Good. It seemed like Pokkenger was also growing impatient, almost trying to kick the Lucario awake. Dark Sun almost wanted to emit a comment at this, but there was no worth for it. The battle needed to be focused on.[break][break]

Whilst the Pangoro and the Urshifu got locked in the storm, it didn't prevent them from learning to replicate the Dark Sun's tactics, as the Urshifu Storm Throwed the Blastoise towards the Venusaur. "Cushion." was the simple order the armored man gave to his Venusaur. The quadrupedal lizard moved to place its flower as the landing pad for the Blastoise, softening the crash and allowing for a quicker recovery.[break][break]

But what came later on was a bit more surprising. Retaliating Mega Evolution with a Mega evolution. And using the signature blow of the Urshifu at its finest, no less. The Charizard's breath was cut short by the "One Blow" and made it stagger. Another move of this caliber would surely make it faint.[break][break]

"I guess it's time. Eliminate it." The 3 pokemons roared in unison at the order. As all 3 aimed for the Urshify, it could be seen that they were charging their signature moves. From Venusaur came "Frenzy Plant", "Hydro Cannon" from Blastoise and "Blast Burn" from Charizard. The 3 attacks melded together into a single devastating ray, rushing for Urshifu.[break]

-Venusaur cushions the Blastoise to allow it to recover faster.[break]
-Charizard is heavily wounded.[break]
-Mega Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise combine Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant and Hydro Cannon respectively into a single beam to destroy the Urshifu.

One had fallen asleep, the rest had charged forward, to deliver moves that would be advantageous. Both the Venusaur and the Charizard grunted from the damage they received, being a blow that challenges their typing... But they held on strong. And since they had gotten close, they were now vulnerable.[break][break]

It was the Venusaur that retaliated first, unleashing a massive storm of petal to strike both the Pangoro and Urshifu, ensnaring them in the circle. Whilst the petals struck Charizard at the same time, he seemed barely unfazed by the attack. And now that the two had been locked together, the Blastoise would also begin its assault.[break][break]

The gigantic turtle leaped forward, merging from its shell upon colliding with the side of the Pangoro to try and send it tumbling against the Urshifu. And once the two had been assembled... The fun would begin. "Keep your focus now." A massive light surrounded the Charizard and a symbol floated before it before he started to expand in sizes. Flames bursted out of the light cocoon as the creature finished to Mega Evolve.[break][break]

The Charizard-G was now ready to unleash hell. As soon as the process was completed, he would let loose a Wildifire upon the Urshifu, and hopefully the Pangoro with it, to bring them down while the Lucario still slept.

A sinister chuckle rose from the armored man's figure.[break][break]

"How wrong I am? Please. Unlike you and your childish banters, I have observed the actions of many of this realm, analyzed all that I could. You, and so many others, are a chaotic element to this Region, bringing instability and incertitude. This won't go further."[break][break]

As the attacks from Pokkengers team were unleashed, both the Blastoise and Venusaur held strong, taking the hits and shaking the damage off. They wouldn't fall so easily. "Let us begin the preparations." Dark Sun proceeded to move behind his team. Hidden from Pokkenger by the figure of the trio, the man allowed a light to emit from his hand, striking the Charizard's back.[break][break]

The first move went to Venusaur, unleashing a massive lilac powder cloud from the flower upon its back and letting the wind carry it towards the enemy to try and put them to sleep. The Blastoise decided to retreat in its shell, if only keeping its legs out, ready to lunge forward when an opening is granted. His defenses most likely had gone up.[break][break]

Finally, the Charizard, slightly quashed by the will of the Pangoro but also attempting to harness the power of the light granted by Dark Sun, was now ready to battle. Opening its maw, an intense blinding light could be seen emerging from the depth of its throat before firing a solar beam back at the Pangoro.[break]

A dark, broken and mechanical voice rose up from behind the hero as a black armored hand emerged from the shadows to grab his shoulder. Following that hand, a massive figure, covered in black armor and gold highlight appeared, towering over the Hoennian Hero.[break][break]

"You've been left alone for too long, brought chaos to this region when it needed a hero. You even fell to darkness. It's time to put a stop to this. You are to come with me, or to be defeated once and for all here. Be judged by the Dark Sun."[break][break]

The armored man unleashed 3 pokeballs, revealing a Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard. The 3 of them stared menacingly at the hero and his trio. They were ready and willing to fight if it came to it.

To think a challenge with the Legendary Fernando Silph would finally happen... In the form of a Beach-Side Sky Battle. One that might be... slightly different from the others? Mainly due to the mount that Balder was using to stand afloat: His Celesteela and the two reactor-arms. Whilst the creature kept itself afloat with its main booster, Balder was standing on top of the two Reactors, waiting for the arrival of the head honcho of Silph Co.[break][break]

One thing he did wonder though... Why did Fernando leave the Council? He kept in touch with League due to his gym position, but leaving that position he had served so well after lots of time... Was surprising to say the least. The kantonian surely had his reasons though.

Another day of challenges and battles. This time, however, thing might be a bit different. As Balder stretching his topless body at the beach, coincidentally near Lars, he heard an individual challenge the two of them. And a Gengar emerging behind the challenger. As he observed the reaction of Lars, who seemed to want to take part as well, the alolan finished streching.[break][break]

"Sure, but don't expect it to be your usual match." The man took a few steps back as he proceeded to summon two of his teammates: Heatran and Zeraora. "I'll take both of you on at the same time. So you better not hold back, especially you Lars." The Heatran roared whilst the Zeraora was jumping on its feet, ready to throw down.

                  It seems like the counter-attack with Steamroller worked wonders, as the Tropius was unable to retaliate. With an opening that good, it would be dumb to not take the opportunity. "Let's finish this Geo. Unleash Mjolnir." Upon the final word of his trainer, the Alolan Golem raised one of his fists skywards.[break][break]

                  Electricity began to cackle , coming up from the shoulder and running up to the fist. At first, it was only a few sparks, but the electricity intensified, until blue lightning almost obscured the pokemon's fist. Geo began to advance slowly but menacingly towards the grass Dinosaur. After a few steps, the ball of rock began to run, aiming for the Tropius' jaw.[break]

                  Her back sure had gotten stronger from what he remembers. But the reaction to his touch... He felt it through his hand. Balder removed his hand right away, wishing to not make her uncomfortable much longer. What did she live through to develop such muscles, such reactions? Things hadn't been easy for her most likely.[break][break]

                  Hearing her say "Sorry" regarding Solgaleo, Balder shook his head. "No need to be. Just a week or two of rest and he'll be back in top shape. Nothing to worry about." Following her reaction to his compliments, he noticed the hair move to cover her face, yet did not seek to see more.[break][break]

                  Then came the question of what he was doing here. "I could ask you the same thing. You rarely move to a location without something in mind, from what I recall. In my case, you could say it's an... experiment." Balder stood up and walked towards the location where he had burrowed the Carrot seeds. "I acquired some weird carrot seeds recently. According to some reports, they seem to attract special pokemons when seeded in a specific location."[break][break]

                  Balder pointed to the Glastrier with his thumb. "So I decided to try my hand at some occult gardening. We'll see how that turns out." The alolan finished his bottle of alcohol and proceeded to place it back in the bag. Not gonna leave that in the nature, could be problematic.
