PORYGON'S WILD ADVENTURES part 2: INTO THE DEEP[break]

It had.... failed yet succeeded? The fighting had stopped, but he had damaged the 3 of them for no reason. Adding to the panic caused by the wormhole trip and all the chaos... The Porygon broke. Data tears rolled down its blocky cheeks before vanishing as it was now crying for having failed.[break][break]

The crying was quickly interrupted once a massive creature emerged from the deep of the Power plant, startling the data pokemon as it passed over them and flew away. Even vanished. The Porygon stared at where the Giratina vanished in awe. How could such a massive creature lurk in the bottom of the building? Was there anything else?[break][break]

Wait. Finding these things out was actually why he got sent here, wasn't it? The Porygon turned, staring at the abyss. Did the abyss just stare back? Hard to say. But... It was somehow scary. If it wasn't for the two individuals that had arrived and decided to go deeper, the creature might've backed up. But seeing two potential allies, the creature chirped Happily and followed them, going on another adventure.

The scientist finally emerged from the portal, alongside his Reuniclus. However... He hadn't expected he'd be that high up in the air as he exited. And it was now too late to return. Thus, Tsubasa began his free fall, while the Reuniclus started floating down using its psychic powers. The creature didn't have the strength to carry its master anymore.[break][break]

Thus, the Charizard from the armored fellow was a welcome arrival. Getting rescued in the air and avoiding the incoming attacks was the best thing that could've happened right now. The scientist observed everything unfold, as the meteorite shattered to reveal a mysterious creature, the Megalopolan getting grabbed by said creature and her ride being consumed to create a body for the spacenoid. Adding to that weird attack it emitted too.[break][break]

"This is... quite interesting. Get me down there, friendly Charizard. I must get better visual." Hopefully, the dragon would comply, as doing so would allow it to rejoin with Pokkenger faster. Being dropped upon the ground safely, with his Reuniclus behind, Tsubasa approached the marvelous creature, keeping a safe distance as he adjusted his glasses.[break][break]

"Truly a mystery. How such a creature could have survived in this stone, for who knows how long.... Fascinating. I'd love to study it more. But..." As things would have it, events unfolded nearby. Being on the opposite side of where the attacks fused from and where the Zeraora was, the scientist could get a better visual from the incident. And seeing a man try to get the captured general.[break][break]

"I agree saving her is an ethical option, but the actions being taken... Suggest a different goal in mind. Cell, interfere." The Reuniclus moved forward, loading his jelly arms with psychic energy before trying to strike Valerio Dachev with a Psystrike to have him release the General. Tsubasa then summoned his other Porygon. "00, why don't you protect her? Make sure not to harm her or the mysterious creature either. I want them both as intact as possible."[break][break]

The Porygon moved, placing itself in front of the general to serve as a shield to it, and also to block anything coming from Deoxys towards her. The creature then uses Lock-On to target the most imminent threat to the General's life.

The metal bird emerged from the portal, without her master. Dewgong was almost panicking now, wondering what Tsubasa had done. Until she saw the bird fly towards the mountain and another portal opened there, dropping the scientist and his Reuniclus. Happily, the creature tried to rush towards the mountain.

As chaos ensued on the field, a small portal opened over the remains of the power plant, illuminating the three humans underneath with its glow. Suddenly, a series of panicked beeps and other computer noises resonate in the vestige as a Porygon begins falling from the portal and crashing into the ground, between the fighting.[break][break]

The creature got up, shaking it's head vividly as it began to float slightly over the ground. Once it had regained all of its senses, the creature looked around him, trying to understand what was going on. Two individuals seemed to be attacked by the man in front of it: Lucas Lane . A scientist, just like the Porygon's master, yet Tsubasa hated him somehow. While the creature didn't understand why this scenario was happening, it could only acknowledge that the man before it was trying to assault the two innocent individuals.[break][break]

While the Porygon's master had told it to avoid fighting as best as possible... The data monster had been thrown right in the middle of it. And leaving two innocents to their fate... wasn't something inscribed in its code. The Porygon emitted a series of beep and noises as a sort of warning, indicating to not get closer and leave the two alone. As it did, it released a Discharge from its body, trying to establish a boundary, a temporary wall between both sides to have the fight calm down. Hopefully nobody would get struck by the attack and it would serve to calm things down.[break]

After gazing into the portals, each of them seemed to indicate their locations. The sea, a steel roof with some debris and the fallen mountain of Meteor Falls. Could these locations be where the war was being fought? That would explain how they were able to move reinforcements so quickly. So the sea would be around Lilycove, while the steel roof... Mauville?[break][break]

The man contemplated all 3 portals. The sea was definitely out of the question, he didn't want to get wet, nor was he properly equipped for an excursion in that area. So only the steel roof and the destroyed mountain. But the opening in the mountain was... Quite intriguing. It seemed like... a cavern of sort? Truly something worth looking into for the scientist.[break][break]

And yet... Tsubasa couldn't help but find out what was happening at the steel building and its surroundings. Thus... It was time to take a hard decision. One that got quickly interrupted by a Skarmory entering from where he came in, followed by the cry of his Dewgong at the entrance. Something wasn't right.[break][break]

It was only when he noticed a vague figure from outside the tunnel, which was striking at it, that he understood. This place would collapse soon enough. The nature of the creature was a mystery. Tsubasa wanted to get closer, get proper visual on it so he could study this, but this would be way too risky. He had to be quick.[break][break]

Taking a pokeball in his hand, he stared at it for a few seconds, then sighed. Knowledge was more important, and he trusted his team. It was worth a try. The man motioned towards the portal overhead as he opened the pokeball, making 02 the Porygon appear, floating slowly towards the Mauville portal. The scientist looked at it. "02, this is a recon mission. Gather as much information as you can, and stay alive at all cost. Fight if you deem necessary. I'll come and get you as soon as possible"[break][break]

At first, the Porygon seemed to squirm, trying to return to Tsubasa, not happy with the mission entrusted to it. But seeing the gaze of his trainer.... The creature calmed down. Before he got absorbed by the portal, the Porygon nodded and used Recover, ready to face whatever awaited it on the other side. That Porygon tended to act like a hero some times and get involved in complicated situations, so Tsubasa really hoped he would obey and stay quiet.[break][break]

Then, his attention got turned to the wandering Skarmory. "Go back to your master. Guide him to the mountain." Hopefully the flying steel chicken would get the message. The scientist switched his gaze to the mysterious figure, before a wicked smile appeared on his face. "Cell, Psystrike at the same location he's hitting. Get his attention. I want him to try following us."[break][break]

The Reuniclus was confused at first. Why issue this kind of order? That was quite a bold request. But... Maybe his master had a plan? Using his psychic powers, the Reuniclus sent Psystrike against the side of the tunnel, making it as flashy and visible as possible to try and attract the mysterious creature's attention. The scientist quickly shouted right after "Try to follow us if you can! Or maybe you're too weak to reach this place?" A bit of a childish approach, but might be sufficient to get him to tag along? Nonetheless, the Reuniclus quickly moved into the portal so they could exit over Meteor Falls.[break]

The Dewgong outside was slowly feeling dread. What could her master be doing? The Skarmory still hadn't returned and things were getting hectic here. The councilman had been getting a little bit crazy and getting rid of uncooperative Megalopolans. She was also swatting them away with her Aqua Tail. She could only hope that her scientist would survive.

Crossing the portal was the easy part. What the man did not expect is the lack of any gravity or maneuvering possibility. Seeing how he was floating randomly in this space, and that his Porygons were suffering the same fate, the man called them back into his pokeballs. Where was Reuniclus though?[break][break]

The psychic creature was controlling the pattern, using his powers to control where he would go. "Cell, give me some support." The Reuniclus nodded before going to his master, wrapping his arms around the scientist as they slowly advanced. It wasn't the comfiest of rides, but it would do.[break][break]

Looking to his left, Tsubasa noticed that another tunnel, similar to the one he was in, was tunneling beside him. And within it, 4 shapes could be observed. While 3 of them seemed to be humans, it was impossible to determine who or what they were. The last one, however, could be made out easily: a Dusknoir.[break][break]

Did another portal open on another location and that team stepped in? Who knows. Now wasn't the best time to theorize on these folks. The sound emitted by the Reuniclus made Tsubasa look forward, noticing 3 portals: One over him, one to his right and one under. As things stood, it was hard for him to tell where each of them led. While science is something risky and he considered taking all 3 at once, something was telling him he'd be losing more by doing so. Thus, the man decided to observe. Maybe something would give him a hint on where these led?[break]

Outside of the portal, when the insect was defeated, people started to move. The Dewgong was observing, wondering what would happen now. However, as she heard the important man say to the megalopolans to retrieve her master from the portal... Her gaze changed. She grew defensive, aggressive. The pinniped creature moved before the portal, ready to stop anyone from entering, Ice Shards only waiting for anyone to make a wrong move to be fired at them.

Her head tilting could be considered cute... if she had been dealing with someone normal. Someone not focused on science and discovering more about pokemons and the world. At least, she was quick to the uptake. Even though she was stating the obvious, the lady still showed good analytic skills and attentiveness to her environment.[break][break]

The fact she picked up the sound of the approaching security guards was proof of that. The security patrol seemed to be heading this way. As she hid behind a pillar, Tsubasa decided to use a different method. Opening his scarf, the head of a Zoroa popped out, yawning silently. "Deceit, background mesh." said the scientist has he placed his back upon the wall.[break][break]

The Zoroa's Illusion started to do its work, covering the duo with the image of the wall behind them, making their forms vanish. The fact that the lady decided to throw a seed to try and distract the guards was... interesting. Wouldn't they notice that the seed ain't normally there and thus was thrown by someone? At this point, Tsubasa decided not to move, observing the girl with him and wondering what will happen.
