He replies to Zev, this one was cold and calculating. He would not turn against Xerneas himself, but if Bryan continued to prove himself to be a problem for rocket...[break][break]

Bryan's wounds began to close shut, a final gift from Isaac Merlo to which he will never thank him for. [break][break]

He struggles against the psychic, But xerneas simply moves Bryan over towards the fellow avatar to handle him as Bryan sees only red at being cut off from his abilities. "One will be retiring at the tree of life. Bryan will know it's location. One will still be loyal to the organization. Zev, you may report that to your leader. One simply wishes to rest and will return if called upon." [break][break]

It says as suddenly the pokemon manages to revive a single tree root and vanishes into it, melding into it as Bryan charges at the vine with his freshly healed body and tries to chase after him but to no avail. The vine rejects his forced entry into the plant. [break][break]

He punches it "COME BACK. YOU DICK. GET BACK HERE, OBEY ME." he screams at it. He sucks on his teeth. Once it was clear he was going to get no response, he looks back towards Isaac angrily. Zev could handle him alone if he struck, isaac was too much of a coward to strike with his back turned to him. [break][break]

"We're leaving" he tells zev angrily as he brushes past him swiftly. He had a deity to visit.

"SHUT UP!" He snarls back at Isaac he grabs at his wounds trying to force his infinity energy to close them, but the energy doesn't respond. As the tree of life from Bryan's z-move fades this time, it doesn't peacefully retreat back from whence it came as it typically does. Instead it turns pitch black, becoming dust as if time had accelerated the tree's lifespan. Zev Harcourt and Michael Navidson would be able to witness this from where they were as a signal of something strange occuring as the hospital began to not have vines locking the area down.[break][break]

And as thus, the tree's passing marked the end of Bryan's time as the LIFE BRINGER. [break][break]

"No no NO NO NO!" he starts to say as he spirals, he tries to command the vines and they don't respond, he looks to Xerneas as the creature averts it's gaze from him. Bryan's been betrayed, by the very patron who swore to him he'd protect him, that'd care for him. "So much for our bond right?! So much for us being a team together!" he yells at Xerneas, the only weapon he had left were his words as he stumbles towards the deer. [break][break]

Blood splatters with each step as Bryan ignores the stars he began to see. "You're a fuckin liar, just like the rest of them, I don't fuckin Nee-" [break][break]

"Silence." it demands as it stomps it's hoof into the ground and Bryan's anger flares as he rushes towards Xerneas with a shard of glass and the pokemon's psychic stops him in his tracks and lifts him into the air. "One no longer recognizes you. to lose yourself and strike against the very one who has cared for you thus far? Are you daft? You've lost yourself to your demons, Delarosa, and the boons one has granted thee have only become a hinderance. You are addicted. Delarosa." [break][break]

'One is bound by duty to keep you safe from harm, even from oneself.' Xerneas's glance turns towards @isaac "Young man. While I appreciate your efforts in an attempt to save him, do not misunderstand. One is still aligned with the ones who risk their lives in an effort to restore one's end of the balance in this world. Zev Harcourt is mere minutes away from this location should you attempt to follow us. he warns as Bryan struggles helplessly against Xerneas's psychic. [break][break]

"We will be leaving. One thanks you for the realizations you have brought to one's mind, and for that one will not strike against you any further until we meet again." [break][break]

Xerneas then began to move towards the direction that Zev Harcourt had gone, also using psychic to snatch away kommo-o who had fainted moments after Bryan had lunged at Xerneas. "YOU FUCKER, YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME, STOP IT. STOP. STOP. I AM THE FUCKING LIFE BRINGER" he says as he starts to deny the entire thing..[break][break]

Denial turns into rage.

he was confused. Was he broken from the healing or was he healing from being broken? His mind did flips as he tried to ascertain what was the truth and what was the reality of his situation. [break][break]

"Yes. I do." he says as Jayden tries to lift his spirits up and Bryan starts to become influenced by his HATRED. "But how do we even start to go about it? How do you heal a wound that isn't physically there?" he asks him as he knew it was pointless to even wait around for Jayden to answer it. The jayden cross he knew was gone, the Bryan delarosa he knew before was back. [break][break]

The world was upside down, the roles had been reversed. The chest board had been flipped and Bryan didn't even know how to play the game anymore at this point.

He sucks on his teeth and activates audino's keystone to give her an extra boost in strength. "Heal him, he's worse off than me." he orders as Audino's mega energy flows into Jayden to try and tend to his scrapes, bruises, and cuts. [break][break]

"And stop fucking reminding me. The pain is enough of a reminder." [break][break]

He was broken, an addict in rehab. Death was once but a fleeting memory, but now with Xerneas gone. The bitter coldness nipped at his skin every time he was injured, his senses couldn't tell if that was just how pain was supposed to be or if jayden cross was just waiting for the right moment to strike at him for his failures. [break][break]

As he looks at Jayden he couldn't help but wonder if the pit growing in his stomach was what Xerneas had felt when looking at bryan.

"FUCK" he screams as he grabs his leg in pain as his Audino immediately begins to tend to the wound. His Melmetal tries to provide further coverage using his massive body to shield bryan from further harm. [break][break]

Jayden swiftly dispatches the creature with blazing speed and strength. Melmetal's body dissipates back to it's regular form to reveal Bryan's blood still pooling on the floor. [break][break]

He groans as Audino tends to his wounds. "Fuck." he growls annoyed at this entire situation. "Good work. I'm gonna be fine." he tells Jayden before the man even asks about it himself. His audino coo's sadly at the wound and patted him saying he was all good to go as she stands up.

The balance had been threatened. He needed to show Xerneas he could be worthy of the life bringer even without his support. It was his role, his purpose. Without a purpose, what was he? a ghost?[break][break]

He arrived in a flash, without the abilities granted to him by his ex patron, he did not want to stick around to find out if the poison would work on him. Act quickly and swiftly. In and out. [break][break]

No one could know he was not the life bringer anymore outside of rocket. Audino is sent out and immediately sends out a heal bell and tries to heal the celebi quickly. Bryan get shit by a poison attack from a grass type, corrupted by the chain and swallows a pecha berry. "Retreat" He was leaving already. it was a risk for him to stay any longer.

Audino scrambled behind him in a flash as she too began to feel ill.

Bryan watched with a weird sense of...jealousy? He missed that life, it was ripped away, not needing to fear anything. Now he needed to be careful again, tactful, strategic. He had full intentions of getting his abilities back one way or another whether Xerneas complied or not. Who was he to deny Bryan what he EARNED? [break][break]

For now, Jayden was a piece of that plan. One that needed to be refined over and over again with his beat downs. "Audino, Heal pulse." he orders as the Pokémon complies with his orders. She was happy to be called upon again but it wondered how much of it was Bryan or the lack of his abilities now. [break][break]

"You're a weapon, keep going." he says as suddenly one of the beasts sneaks up on Bryan and catches him off guard and he panics. Out of old habits he almost didn't dodge, he barely moves out of the way in time, a paradox suicuine biting his leg and causing him to bleed. His leg doesn't heal and he panics "AUDINO!" he yells as it uses psychic to lift the pokemon up and throws it towards jayden cross

He just had to ensure no one found his limits. "So what brought you into rocket? interest in trees? Nature?" he says as of course his reasonings for being assigned here made sense off the bat just for his abilities and status. But her? She was new, did they want him to test her? Rocket was always vague yet methodical with their decisions.

he had gotten so used to people already being aware of who he was off the bat, so now someone not knowing who he was? "Have you been living under a fuckin rock? Bryan delarosa? One braced themselves for impact, one's chosen had fallen deeper and deeper into the darkness of this world. What had caused him to fall so deep, was it his experience with Soleil, his interactions with those who left him? One could not help but wonder what caused Bryan to feel so alive when dying. Was one's blessing becoming a curse? No, it was not that, Bryan did not ever see it that way as he openly argued against Amor Rose . When the discussion was brought up. Shock filled one's expression as Isaac healed one's body. "Enough." it declares as it unleashes a psychic energy from it's eyes. [break][break]

Meanwhile [break][break]

Water surrounded Bryan on all sides, a tsunami surrounded him, threatening to pull him under and drown him. Yet to him, it was only a momentary stop gap, Suicuine would eventually tire out from continually attacking him like this and he would still remain. He continued to laugh maniacally as he knew his victory would surely be eminent. However a psychic power outlines him, pulling him out from the waves and away from Suicuine, in addition a gentle energy washes over isaac and carefully places him by his patron (if isaac would allow it) [break][break]

'Enough, Delarosa!' The deer speaks aloud. 'One cannot sit by idly and bear witness to such a descent into madness!' [break][break]

he snaps out of his daze and looks back to Xerneas, growling at him "What the FUCK are you doing?! You're ruining our chance to take out a big target! I had this WE had this!" He roars at the creature, the straw what little semblance of peace still remained between the two. [break][break]

'We are retreating and discussing things in private, we are in no condition to continue to fight.' he orders as the tree of life begins to wither and Xerneas starts to retreat, Kommo-o comes in as part of the tree withers just wide enough to allow it's entry into the battle and it rushes towards suicuine and isaac to keep them preoccupied in the mean time, unleashing a POWER WHIP as the corruption of the celesteela seed courses through it's veins.[break][break]

Bryan growls at him, clenching his fist, finally deciding he has had enough insubordination from Xerneas, it was his pokemon and needed to obey him. He raises a hand and feels the twisted life of vines around him sucumb to his will and he pushes his hands out towards Xerneas as the vines start to rush towards him. However, the pokemon was one step ahead of him and his gaze turned towards Bryan and then...[break][break]

Nothing. [break][break]

An emptiness began to fill Bryan's chest, pain coursed through his body and he falls to one kneel as he starts to bleed and the vines fall to the floor. "What did you DO?!" he yells at him as Bryan starts to become weaker and weaker with each and every second and the light inside him begins to flicker.
