They all knew why he was here, no need to make a big deal of it.

Whoever he called on would fight and whoever fought would win. That was a given. Whatever was fought would join his team. That was a given too.

So many places to acquire new teammates but the Fiery Path was a favorite. So while he was still fond of it, he would frequent the place until he was no longer so.

-or until he had one of every fire-type pkmn in existence.
Dose () having been given a name since their last time here was overjoyed, over-rested and overtly itching for a fight.

The fiery path would surely not disappoint.

That was the beautiful part about the Fiery Path; he never got what he was looking for, but he always got what he wanted.

He would have never imagined a bulbasaur living near the peak of a volcano. It seemed along with fire-type pkmn it wasn't necessarily grass, but rather poison-types that found the area sustainable. It appeared from a crack in the walls wide enough for even Sénon to fit through if he got down on all fours and 'scrooched' through it.

It didn't notice him until it was too late.

Trying to scurry back into its hidey-hole Dose cut it off and ready to be attacked without defending itself it was glad to get fighting orders and not be ordered to be a punching bag. "TOXIC!" Calling forth what would be a 'ringer' for this fight he decided to end it quickly and it wouldn't be a puzzle on how to do that.

He'd been knocking out bulbasaur since he was ten years old.

The croagunk spewed pungent thick chunks of gunk unto the 'babysaur' and it didn't hesitate to fight back, spearing into Dose with the heft of body. The frog buckled under the weight of the attack, but the Seed PKMN suffered some damage as well appearing roughed up as if Dose had tackled it instead. Jakka emerged from his pokeball hearing the orders of "FLAMETHROWER" before he fully formed from the red lighting.

Dose used TOXIC; Bulbasaur was badly poisoned!
Bulbasaur used DOUBLE EDGE; it hit with recoil!
Jakka used FLAMETHROWER; its super effective!

Once manifested he covered the young grassling in flames more intense that it was used to. "VENOSHOCK!" With not much fight left in it the Bulbasaur fell unconscious when Dose filled his throat-sack; eventually spraying out a thin bile that seemed to react with the TOXIC-gunk doing extra damage.

Bulbasaur suffered poison damage!
Dose used VENOSHOCK; its super effective!

Tapping it gently with an empty Nest Ball () he affirmed its fighting spirit, actually ecstatic to have such new potential on his team.

Crimsen attempted to capture Bulbasaur!
