There's no sense in asking why Adrian brought his Shellder, but he did. Maybe because he hoped its Skill Link and Icicle Spear combo could counteract the shootout of sludge that had commenced. Petalburg was starting to feel like a poorly done Western cinematic the way the pokemon had got caught in a Kalosian Standoff. But at the same time... It was kind of hilarious to see, really.

While Shellder tried to fire a shaft of ice for every blot of poison sent their way, Adrian hurled a pokeball at the pokemon, thinking it the best way to end the violence, deterring further conflict.

Or maybe he just felt left out, but he wasn't exactly at liberty to start discharging rounds in a city full of people. So this was a close alternative.

“Welp that’s a lot of them...huh Cha-cha” Billi asked the small red bird that gave a flick of it’s perfectly red plumage like he was doing a somba. “well…..we kinda need to get rid of them…..soo maybe Disco can help us out with clearing them out.” Billi stated as he let Lucidocolo out of his pokeball. “Rain dance,” he commanded the dancing pokemon who gave an obnoxious noise that made billi laugh. “Cha-cha hurricane” screw it just blow them all away. What is there to lose. Because slowbro was just being thrown around like a tiny leaf in a heavy gust. Funny thing was, this bird was just dancing his best life away.

It was always a marvel of a sight to behold when pokémon amassed in numbers to move as a singular colony or movement.

It was much less so when those doing it where armed and dangerous.

Powerful water moves aside wild Slowbro tended to have latent psychic abilities and their Galarian counterparts had poisonous arm cannons no less.

"MAG; USE ZAP CANNON!" Keeping the trainers pressed with firing rocks and water bullets he did what he could to order his pokémon in returning fire. "GAN, TRANSFORM!"

Taking the form of one of the specially colored Galarian Slowbro, Gan () wandered into the dopey crowd taking out many of their number with friendly fire to the back, which none of them seemed to notice or retaliate against.

It was like watching slowpoke eating their own tails.

Knowing the mental power they'd have if any of them managed to evolve he kept his barren pokéball in mind just in case he managed to find an opportunity to catch one without being peppered with spicy poison shots.

A powerful psychic type... She had one already - actually two - but Effie was trying. She breathed in air before releasing her Ribombee. The little fairy bug rose daintily in the air before setting their sights on the swarm. "Please" the woman said to her new Pokemon now, clasping her hands together "use Bug Buzz on the nearest one."

The Ribombee trilled, agreeing to the command. It shot off, eager to work its proverbial magic on the crowd. Waves of sound crashed into the nearest Slow-evolution, damaging it. The dopey creature groaned but otherwise did not even flinch. "Keep it up" Effie said from her spot. While she may not need to capture any Pokemon here, she would help clear them out.

It was the least she could do.

Slowly they begin to nod off where they stand, slumping over upright and supporting the melody of SING with a cacophony of snores and snorts.

That's only half of this effort though.

"Finale," Lillian says. The Lapras's tune shifts from a soothing lullaby to a haunting elegy. PERISH SONG spreads and plants its deadly harmonies in the ears of its unconscious audience.

Lapras is subsequently returned; and Lillian silently watches as the wild pokemon begin dropping one by one. Once most of them have fallen she tosses a pokeball lazily into the litter of bodies.

How fortunate that a swarm of poison-firing sea creatures marched on the city the same day that Chryssa was here, attending a local play. Of course, the performance being disrupted by a wide-scale Pokemon attack was hardly a disappointment. In fact, it was the perfect twist.

Toxic liquid burst all around her like an exploding fire hydrant as she stood in the middle of the sidewalk. Several flecks settled on her arm and burned through her sleeve, stinging her, but she hardly seemed to notice. Her eyes were fixed with bright intensity on the creature in front of her, its signature sidearm aimed directly at her head.

Fortunately, the Kricketune conveniently superimposed between Chryssa and the Slowbro absorbed most of the damage. Laina, her Kricketune, braced herself with her foreclaws crossed in an X over her chest, poison continuing to barrage her. Her antennae flattened. This was not a good day for the bug.

"It's almost time," Chryssa said, tearing her eyes away from the Slowbro and looking out across the wave of Pokemon flooding the pedestrian city streets. Her spirits rose. It was like an army, marching to lay siege on the urban paradise. Chryssa turned back, lifting a finger dramatically. "And... now, I think, Laina."

A trill of bell-like notes and the Bide released, an afterimage of absorbed power hurtling back towards the pink invader.

Beside him, Klinklang whirs and lets out an affirmative beep when it successfully locks on to its target. Poison splashes harmlessly against the steel-type's interlocked gears.[break][break]

Sometimes she just wanted to watch the world burn.

This was one of those times.

Who knew that a strange kind of Slow…poke? Bro? King? Whatever this was? had turned up in Petalburg and was now causing some kind of unholy racket and riot all over the place.

Sighing, as she knew that she had to eventually deal with these things, Izumi pondered just how to best handle the—well, they were… shit.

She needed a Grass-type to handle these ugly-ass suckers, but now, she was out of options. She had way too many Fire-types and this was going to bite her in the ass…

Anyway, she didn’t want to walk away empty-handed, so she plucked an empty Pokéball and lobbed it at the weird-looking Slow…she didn’t know what to call them anymore honestly, it was beyond her at this point.

Normally, Genesis wouldn’t even bother answering a call to stop pokemon from messing up something. Truthfully, she didn’t care. But when the word got out about a new pokemon was causing trouble, you better believe the dark haired woman was there without a second thought. Her beautiful green eyes flickered over the paint the stamped the wall of petalburg city. She hummed to herself in deep thought. What kind of pokemon could do this? Smeargle? No, the reports say it was a band of slowbros. A few of them looked different though. His gaze flickered to her companions. “What do you two think?” Both the golett and sableye shrugged their shoulders. Her gaze turned back to the paint.

It was a scream that peeled her attention away from the paint. A young woman screaming as she ran pass them. Genesis blinked, seeing paint on her face before she disappeared form her sight. “I think we have some close by.” The woman motioned for her pokemon to follow, rounding the corner to see a few of them painting another way. A large grin spread across her face as she spots a few odd looking slowbros with normal ones. Reaching into her pocket, she summoned another creature. The trevenant stared at the pokemon before her. “Alright. I want one of those odd looking ones,” she told her team, pointing a finger at the galarian one, “Get rid of them all but one of those.”

With that, her pokemon attacked. Veyron the Golett summoned a shadow ball. The dark ghostly sphere hit one of them and got their attention. They were angry now. The sableye stepped in, giving them all a mean look before using another shadow ball at them. Some of them started to disperse. And last but not least, the trevenant used phantom force on any that dared to keep going. Genesis only stood there, fingers crossed she could get her hands on the oddly looking slowbro before anyone else.

the psychic assault from his pokemon was enough to send the bullets of poison back at their shooters as kazimir sent his pokemon out after them. he didn't think that any pokemon they helped with the poison from the megalopolans wold go around looking for revenge. he imagined that was reserved for the cannibalistic aliens themselves, but here they were. no it was time to pull some overtime with cleaning duty. "don't go easy on them fellas. let's round them up-whoa! hey! i'm talking here!" he shouted at one slowbro that was charging at him firing off more shots that the trainer did his best to make sure they didn't hit him at all. he didnt' need an acid bath today! so he fired off his own shot back at the slowbro. his bullet, a pokeball aimed to stick itself in the pokemon's shell gun-arm and plug it up.

Oscar should not have stepped outside today. Exiting his hotel, he was met with a sickening sight; purple sludge as far as the eye could see. At first he thought it was just the world's messiest game of paintball, but the true culprits quickly made themselves known.

A trio of galarian slowbros came out of nowhere, fighting amongst each other with great ferocity. Oscar wanted no part of this, so he slowly turned to leave. Yet as he did so, his boots would squeak ever so slightly. As the sounds of battle suddenly ceased, Oscar would look back with great reluctance. To his horror, the slowbros had noticed his presence.

Oscar ran, and the slowbro gave chase. He bobbed and weaved in a panic, frantically dodging shots from their arm canons. Eventually he came upon a small alcove that he dove into to hopefully lose his pursuers. Two of the slowbros ran past him, but one lingered. This would prove to be a dire mistake, as Oscar pulled out an empty pokeball to entrap his would be assailant.
