The collection of honey was one of the more ancient jobs humanity had. Cultivating it from the partnership between people and bees, an old tradition dating back centuries... An essential job for various reasons. Honey was used in medicine, cosmetics and other research. She found it to be slightly interesting and opted to go see how it was done.

Yet she would wait not to be stung. Questions could be asked after the job was done. Sidonie was without her lab coat this day; yet she still wore black. At her feet was a Charmander. He did not seem to be pleased to be here; true, she hadn't exactly called it out since capturing it. "Samuel, I presume?" she says, approaching the wild haired gentleman. A pause before -

"Shall we begin?"

They would have to get through the Combees that were loose before they could get to the hives and effectively do their jobs. Something must have agitated them and set them into a frenzy, maybe the queen was in danger?

Regardless the farmer needed their help getting things back in order.

”You’ve got your man.” Samuel said in reply to Sidonie as she approached him. At the suggestion to begin their operation Samuel took a step forward, his Pyroar going a bit beyond and facing the swarming bees.

”Right, let’s get things started. Regulus if you would be so kind.” The rocket would then turn to Sidonie, hands covering his ears.

”Might want to cover your ears for this.” Samuel’s Pyroar let out a booming roar which scared the bees back closer to their hives making it easier for them to move closer.

”Alright that’s much better! Now we should be able to hit them with some smoke and calm them down.” Samuel clapped his hands together and then released two of his other fire Pokémon, Magmortar, and Centiskorch.

There was little time for small talk in her world. The man would answer curtly yet politely, ordering his Pokemon to get to work. The Pyroar would bellow, frightening the bees back and making their work much easier. Sidonie looked on with subtle approval, ordering Charmander to use Scary Face for some stragglers.

The leer given to those ones that were brave enough to face the Pyroar sent them scurrying back. Charmander did not know a smoke-based attack, so Sidonie had improvised and brought along some smoke bombs. At Samuel's approval, she threw one of them into the swarm. The beating of wings slowed, hovering more or less in the air at the smoke's use.

But this was just the first smoke bomb. Placing a gas mask on her face to shield her eyes and nose, she would take out a second one to offer to the man before she used the rest. Charmander stood ready should he be needed. "We should be quick" Sidonie says now "if the bulk of the swarm is outside..."

It meant they were protecting the queen. Should that singular bee fall, the hive was done for. Their pay would no doubt be docked or terminated. She did not like to leave a job unfinished. Sidonie moved closer, determined to see it through.

He made his way toward the hive and surely any bees that were flying about away from their home would come back to protect it.

His eyes carefully watched for the queen, finding it a bit odd that they haven’t spotted her just yet given how brazen the other bees were being. Perhaps their brashness wasn’t something the queen shared which was appreciated all things considered.

Sidonie’s bombs made it much easier for them to get to a good distance from the hive for Samuel to order his other two Pokémon to use Smokescreen on the bee home to make it nap time for all.

”The queen might be somewhere, best we keep eyes open.”

T'was odd they hadn't seen the queen yet. Sidonie remarked the other Combee were not putting up much fight the further they got. A few quick blasts of fire from Charmander was enough to make them flee. She was content to let the others handle the heavy lifting, using the smoke bombs when needed. Especially if a Combee got close.

However, soon the sounds of battle lifted their way to her ears. She would glance toward Samuel before her masked frame leisurely walked forward, revealing through the fog that the Vespiquen was locked in combat. An Ursaring had wandered toward the hive, intention to feast upon the golden honey. So frenzied had been the battle the wild Pokemon failed to see the humans.

"Flamethrower" she said curtly, lifting a finger to point toward the bear. Situating himself behind the giant Pokemon, Charmander proceeded to roast its rear. The bear would jump, crying out in pain before aiming a large paw to swat the lizard away. "secure the queen" she said to Samuel "we shall take care of the Ursaring."
