Still sprawled out on the mountain grass with her eyes closed, Aoi sighed. She'd heard Fernando making his approach before he'd called out to her. The gentle crunch of the grass underneath his feet causing her ears to twitch. She wasn't exactly in the mood to deal with people today. Part of her was hoping that she'd just be ignored. But of course that wasn't going to happen.

"Peachy." she replied, sitting up and glancing over her shoulder. She wasn't sure who she was expecting to see but it certainly wasn't someone of Fernando's rapport.

"Aren't you..." Aoi sat up, "Fernando Silph?" she questioned. He certainly looked like the man she'd seen pictured on magazines covers. The actress frowned. She suddenly felt underdressed in her purple tracksuit and running shoes.

Pushing the feeling aside, she cocked her head and stared at Fernando in silence. "Is that pink mist?" it coiled around the older male in spectacular fashion. Where was it coming from? If she didn't know any better Aoi could have sworn it was coming from the man himself.

"What a gentlemen." she smiles, taking the offered hand and pulling herself up from the ground. "Misty Terrain? As in the move?" what an odd thing have surrounding you. She still didn't know where it was coming from either but she couldn't be bothered to ask.

Now that she was standing on them again Aoi could tell that her legs felt a bit better. The throbbing sensation she'd once been feeling had numb considerable.

"Good." she thought, she could get back to what she'd come here for.

"Hmm." she tapped a finger against her lips thoughtfully.

"Could I ask you to escort me further up the mountain? The whole reason I stopped was because my legs were killing me. If I had someone to talk to it might take my mind off them."

As a former actress, Aoi was used to being stared at. Even before she'd stepped into the spotlight. It was never something that bothered her. Truth be told, it was something that she enjoyed most of the time. Right now, with Fernando's eyes narrowed on her person. She wasn't sure how to feel.

Offend that he felt need to see if she was lying or giddy that someone important was ogling her.

Aoi glanced to the Pokeballs around her waist and back to Fernando. "No, the only Pokemon I have that could carry me has rough skin." she pursed her lips and looked towards the mountain's peak. "I can definitely walk. I just wanted the company." Aoi smiled, eyes filling with warmth as she brushed strands of hair behind her ear.

"Well - " a wild Golett with an arm full of berries cut her off. The dual-type came barreling down from the summit like a freight train. Just as it reached the pair, the Pokemon tripped - scattering the berries all around them.

Aoi blinked, dumbfounded and amused as she watched the golem hurriedly attempt to gather the berries back into its arms. Only to stop upon noticing Fernando and Aoi. In a panic, Gollet lashed out violently. The yellow swirl on its chest began to glow faintly, and it released a sharp shriek. Suddenly, powerful tremors wracked the mountain.

Knocked off balance, Aoi fell backward onto the ground with a painful thud.

"Ugh." her brow furrowed, and she reached for Loch's Pokeball and tossed it. Druddigen let out a mighty roar as it materialized from the ball in a flash of red light.

Quick to realize what was going on - Loch flew at Gollet with its mouth wide open. Razor-sharp teeth pierced the Gollet's clay skin as Loch clamped down on its arm. In response, Gollet attempted to free itself by pounding Loch with its free arm. Despite the little damage it was doing, Loch released his hold on Gollet's arm.

Darting back with a flap of its wing, Druddigen unleashed a wave of searing blue flames as it retreated. Now that it was significantly weakened, she tossed a Pokeball. It connected, sucking the Gollet inside and falling to the ground where it began to shake.

Aoi could do little more than wait on bated breath for the outcome.

"Thank you." she replies, "He was a gift from someone close to me." but that person was long gone now. A distant memory from a life she'd left behind. It's a drab thought, one Aoi could easily get lost in, but Fernando stops her. His outstretched hand and offered advice bringing a smile to her face.

"Yeah, I'm not really much of a battler." she only did so now because Team Rocket expected her to. "I've been meaning to get more practice in, but work keeps me busy." Aoi lied as naturally as she breathed.

Aoi can't help but giggle as Fernando crouches down in front of her. Not because she finds it funny, but because it catches her off guard. "Seriously?" she remarks - hesitant to accept the silent offer to climb onto his back. The whole thing feels like a scene from one of her plays or movies.

That's probably why she accepted despite her hesitation.

Positioning herself onto Fernando's back, Aoi drapes her arms over his shoulders and holds on tightly. They're close now - intimately so, and she can't help but notice his scent. He smells sweet, almost like candy. She's not sure if that's due to some type of cologne or the Misty Terrain. Either way - it's pleasant, and Aoi has to stop herself from sniffing him like some kind of crazy lady.

"Thank you, you really are a gentlemen. The place I'm going is just before the mountain summit." Aoi whispers quietly, resting her head against his shoulder.
