Ashley confronts Theo in a 3v3 battle, determined to out his former mentor for his Rocket crimes. The wager? If he wins, Theo will reveal himself online, for all the atrocities he's committed. If he loses, he'll return back to Rocket again. Ashley loses, and even though Theo declares he doesn't want him in Rocket, Ashley is stubborn — he's made a promise, so he'll commit to it. No matter what.

both in rocket now, they have no choice but to get along. ashley approaches jayden somewhat respectfully, with an attempt to secure a higher position in the organization by asking him for resources on a planned bank heist. jayden declines him, telling him he doesn't have what it takes. he tells him to do well in the spectra trials to prove himself.

jayden ends up being an evaluator for ashley's current best friend, isaac merlo. he tells isaac that, much like ashley, he needs to work on his obssession with being a sacrifical lamb, or he'll never make it in rocket. but also like ashley, jayden has high hopes for him too. he wants them to succeed.

You can only run for so long. Jayden's past comes to haunt him. Declan Walsh questions why he never killed Ashley on that fateful day at the Lighthouse, when he had every opportunity to. When he cannot come up with an answer, he comes up with a permenant solution — branding him in the cruelest of ways, right in front of Ashley himself.
