After finishing their pizza in the grand estate, Remiel would allow Razz free reign of the living room area while he went upstairs to get changed. Shedding his dirty farmhand clothing, he reemerged in a modest beige sweater and pair of blue jeans. His Sinistea floated behind him, ever the attentive little butler. "Come," He says, gesturing for Razz to follow him out of the living room and back towards the foyer. "It is time for the tour of the draciary I've promised."[break][break]

They make their exit afterwards, leaving the suits of armor and royal banners in the living room behind. "You'll have to bear with me for one moment, however," The ambassador adds, shutting the wooden doors behind them and guiding Razz off to the side of the property, rather than onto the trail that lead to the draciary in question. "It's their lunchtime, too."[break][break]

Before long, a barnhouse comes into view.[break]

With lunch done and both his and his pokemon's belly's fully satisfied, Razz waited in the living room as the prince got himself dressed. As he waited he gave his phone to Salem and watched as he played one of the puzzle apps. He'd explore more, but he rather not without the other there, otherwise he'd feel like he was snooping. [break][break]

Thankfully it didn't take took long for Remiel to ready himself as he turned off the phone, Salem seeming to cry 'noooo' as they were in the middle of a match. "It's still going to be there you derp," The cat pouts as razz chuckles before flopping himself onto his trainer as they followed along. [break][break]

"That's fine," he replies not having a problem with the detour as this was meant to be a tour anyways. Though he is curious about the barnyard, "This is where their food is?" Razz questions as Salem moves himself to in front of his trainer meowing and signing nonsense. "We're not the lunch Salem"

As they drew closer, the constant hum of a petrol-fueled generator nearby came into earshot. "Yes," Remiel responds, unlocking the large lock at the barn door with a key he pulls from a keyring at his hip. "I would keep their food closer to the draciary, but we've had a problem with Sneasel as of recent." He explains, pushing open the door and walking inside first in order to switch on the lights.[break][break]

The interior of the stable was incredibly spacious and surprisingly large, as if designed to house and care for Mamoswine rather than Rapidash. Scales, some reflective and others muted and matte, littered the hay-covered floor in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Though Remiel hardly looked at them as he moved towards a large rectangular fridge against one of the walls, he did bother to make a mention of it.[break][break]

"Forgive the mess. The stable is typically cleaned every day, but I've sent the help on a two week holiday they've yet to come back from." He says, pulling out his keys once more to unlock the fridge. Earl Grey, in the meantime, hovers over to a wheelbarrow nearby.[break]

"Sneasel huh?" as the ranger ponders a bit, "I know there are some farmers and such that do try to spray their crops, or at the the very least the area around it wtih a special type of repel, have you tried that?" Razz tries to suggest seeing if it could be helpful for the other. He has seen it used, though he wonders if it would cause trouble for the actual pokemon who lived there. [break][break]

As he enters again he just can't help but be awed by the size. Everything here really made him feel bad about the lack of space he could give his own pokemon. Just a little longer he tried to tell himself, as Remiel made his way to the fridge Razz followed once again. [break][break]

"Its fine, most things like this seems like they'd be hard to keep up with on your own, anyway we can help?"

"We try to avoid using repel here," The prince answers. "It agitates the dragons... and the Sneasel are clever enough to mask themselves from the smell with greenery." Ever the little crafty infiltrators.[break][break]

A pungent, fishy odor bursts out from the fridge the moment its seal is opened. Just as Remiel moves to reach down and pull out the large net of frozen fish, however, Razz's offer prompts him to stop and turn back around. "Oh? You're my guest, I shouldn't ask you to help run my chores, but... perhaps with our pokemon, the task won't be too difficult at all."[break][break]

After pausing to note any sign of agreement from Razz, Remiel utters a short whistle, prompting Earl Grey to drop the wheelbarrow he's carrying with his ghostly telekinesis. Then, walking towards a set of rakes hanging against the stable wall, he tosses one to Razz while grabbing the other. "Perhaps Earl Grey and Salem can manipulate the scales on the ground into gathering as a pile at the north-eastern corner. Whatever they miss, we can gather we these." He explains, toting his rake.[break][break]

"Is that quite alright with you, Kingsman?"[break]

”That is fair, it just seems that your dragons and the food are in separate parts of the land, thus the suggestion, but I can understand avoiding it,” he nods after explaining his reasoning, though he understands well how pesky some pokemon could be when they wanted something. [break][break]

At the sent his nose can’t help but crinkle, clearly an unpleasant smell for him. Though his offer would still be there despite the smell. ”I may be your guest, but well I’m also...” part of him wants to try and say friend. However he quickly moves from that as he wasn’t even sure if the other thought the same, and he didn’t want to make a fool of himself of thinking otherwise, “uhhh... I’d just feel guilty of just a standing here while you’re doing it on you’re own,” he recovers himself, Salem seems took look at his trainer as if sensing his discomfort. ”But yeah I could try a Pokémon for helping,” with that he does look to Salem to see if the cat was up for it. There does seem to be a protest from the cat but he does jump off Razz’s shoulder in his own way of showing he was fine with it. [break][break]

As the rake is tossed to him while he does put his hand out its clear that Salem intervenes with it to easily hand it over, while it wasn’t a bad toss Razz often faulted due to his eye sight. “Of course, uhh just show us where,” he offered his compliance Salem moving over to the tes cup pokemon as he ask what he needs to do.

"Oh, well... this only applies to their inanimate foods. We keep this feed close to the estate for security purposes. The live feed is set free into the draciary every morning at 5AM. But, as you can guess, some dragons have better predatory instincts than others."[break][break]

It was all part of a somewhat complicated balance, really. One that he wouldn't mind expanding on once they were there. But, for now, they had the task at hand. And Earl Grey had already begun his part of it, using his ghostly telekinesis to manipulate any scales he could into rising out of the hay and into the air above. It chimes and tilts its cup towards Salem, as if asking the little cat to use its own telekinesis to pick up more.[break][break]

Should it all go according to plan, the pair of pokemon would have cleared out a good many scales from the hay covering the floor. But Remiel would swoop in with his rake to get the leftovers dotted around the large stable. They glittered and gleamed in all manner of colors, waiting to be found like lost little treasures. "Thank you," Remiel says, pausing to roll up his sleeves. "I have these sent to a craft shop in Rustboro. Lady Ilene should be pleased."[break]

Razz blinks a few times at the mentioning of inanimate foods and live feed. Then his mind can't help but wonder to the idea of if this was the reason the prince always caught so many pokemon when they went on their adventures together. As a ranger he was more than well aware that some pokemon just ate each other. Dragons definitely being in that group of carnivores. Still came as a shock to him sometimes though. "That and I'm sure some of them are just stronger depending on who you train for battle." [break][break]

With that Salem watches as the tea cup does his job, delaying a bit as he watches the other to see exactly what they wanted. It seemed simple enough, but so boring. With his psychic abilities Salem's eyes flash blue before lifting the scales and adding them into the pile. With a few going unnoticed as they were hidden under the hay, Razz helps rake them out. Either moving them toward the middle or bringing them to Salem's attention so he could add them.[break][break]

"A donation or you sell them?" Razz can't help but ask as he exams one he picks up from the ground, "Any particular dragon?" he ask with curiosity.

Remiel nods in agreement. It was true, on some level. The dragons he used in battle were kept in peak physical fitness. Paragons of their respective species, they received the most attention when it came to diet, ability, and skill. But the rules changed in the hunt. Sometimes the cleverest, sneakiest of them surpassed even the most well-trained in the wild.[break][break]

"Donations, of course," Remiel responds, raking some of the scales on the other side of a wooden gate. "As the Galarian Ambassador, I endeavor to support Rustboro's community in whichever way I can, considering they're hosting our embassy." He sweeps the scales out to the center of the stable, and Earl Grey proceeds to gather them as well alongside Salem.[break][break]

Propping his rake up vertically, and both his hands upon its blunt end, Remiel turns to regard the scale Razz has picked up. "Kommo-o." He answers.[break]

The young man continues to look at the scale as he tries to recognize it. He was surprised to hear that he just donated them, did the ambassador job really pay well enough to pay for this whole place? Honestly it wasn’t something he was sure about, nor was he planning on asking about it as he knows that's just one of those things you don’t really speak of. So for now all he could do was help rake as he listened. [break][break]

“Kommo-o? The Galarian Ambassador donating Alolan dragon scales, sounds suspect,” Razz attempts to joke as he tosses the one he had in his hand towards Salem who rolled his eyes. Clearly his joke didn’t hit well with the cat, but knows the cat gave him points for trying. “So is this something you do weekly or something?” he questions curious just how often these sort of chores needed doing.

"Hm? Why's that?" Remiel inquiries, legitimately unsure how donating such a resource could be construed as 'shady'. Perhaps Razz thought he was using them as some sort of bribe? Then again, scales without the skilled craftsmanship to mold them in all manner of shapes and sizes were... useless, for lack of a better word.[break][break]

Regardless, the lad asked how often he executed this chore, and it managed to spawn the hint of an amused smile on his voice. "I usually don't. The stable hands usually have it covered, you see. But they're both off enjoying the comfort of their respective families." Walking over to a rack against the wall, he hangs his rake up and gestures for Razz to do the same.[break][break]

Razz just rubs his one good eye in embarrassment, he already knows he’s bad with jokes so why does he still try? Sure he was told before that he should practice being more personable but maybe this wasn’t the way. “Sorry, I just tried a joke, clearly I’m not good with them,” he comments before waving his hand dismissively as if asking for the other to forget what he said. [break][break]

“Oh vacation for the new year or something?” he ponders not being too familiar with the concept no matter the job. His parents didn’t celebrate anything, and while vacation time was given to the Rangers who asked for it off, he didn’t have family anymore to ‘celebrate’ with even if he wanted. So he still often worked as the Rangers were a group that kept on their toes. [break][break]

With the thanks Razz just follows to hang up the rake as he offers a smile, “Of course happy to help, so is Salem,” he comments though with the meow the cat seems to be giving sass at best. “Can I assist with this as well?” the ranger makes sure to ask not wanting to impose.

Remiel is as inclined to dismiss the 'joke' as Razz is, and merely shrugs before turning away to place his hands on the wheelbarrow's grips. When asked about the vacation his employees were on, he nodded. "Christmas and New Year's, that's correct. They'll be back on the 4th." Though he supposed that tidbit of information didn't really matter to the lad.[break][break]

Beginning to make his way towards the door, and pushing the wheelbarrow ahead, Remiel stops when his friend makes an offer to carry it for him. "Oh, I've got this just fine, thank you. Perhaps you could bring along the tub of shrimp I have in the freezer? Some of the aquatic creatures demand it." Particularly, his grouchy Carracosta.[break][break]

This is what he likes about Remiel. When he makes dumb jokes that he’s clearly embarressed about he seems to be just as clueless or is great to just let it go. Razz feels like if he were with anyone else, it would be different. [break][break]

For now the young man follows the other toward the freezer as he waits for orders. “Yeah I can do that!” he seems eager, as he was a bit excited to see this. So far he’s only heard of the draciary so it was great to finally be able to see it. As he grabs the container of shrimp and follows the prince he does wonder, “So just how many pokemon do you house here?”
