his victreebel takes the brunt of it. all of it. elijah supposes the plant looks like a rubbish bin anyway. a tall one with a convenient lip-rim to hold on to.

when chu-e finishes, his victreebel burps. it has tasted worse. digested worse. still, the stomach convulses as if it has taken in something wholly meant to have come out instead.

"i'd ask you how you are again," elijah says, "but i'm sure you're even better now."

his lips cringe as he eyes his victreebel. thank goodness for the aromatherapy.

"seasickness takes a long time to get over. if it's even possible at all. all i can offer is temporary relief at best."

When Chu-e finishes, right's himself, wipes the residue on the back of his hand, he blinks and recoils since he just... fed.... the victreebell. Oops.

"Fuck." He says slow and half apologetic. He opens his mouth to say more but instead a sharp coughing fit takes him over, wracks his frame till he's bend over at the knees, bracing himself. He groans and rubs his face, a sudden headache starting to throb behind his eyes.

".... I think I need to go lay down." While he does feel better it's not... the same. Usually when you puke, you feel great afterward. Whatever was bothering you was gone. Not Chu-e just feels empty, queasy and warm. At least elijah gardner had loosened up his still muscles. Small graces.
