Smoky steam whistled out from the sides of its steel bands as it clambered up the mountain towards a cave nearby. Thousands of feet below, in the volcanic depths of the earth, Asphodel's home remained. Though the possibility of it having been flooded with magma or rock since then was certainly high.[break][break]

Now that the Heatran was topside, however, it reminded Remiel of a newborn dragon. Despite its rough and monstrous exterior, the lava beast had the spirit of a child. Its deep-seeded curiosity for the world it now found itself in was admirable, the royal thought. But that merely meant it had much to learn.[break]

As Remiel watched his Heatran clamber over the edge of a clearing on the mountain, and peek into the cave therein. a Sneasel sneaked up on him from behind. SIlent footsteps did well to mask its presence from the prince... but the cold chill that emanated from its body did not. Taking note of the subtle turn from the man's chin, the creature pounced in to try and salvage what it could of its attempt.[break][break]

When its head was swiftly kicked from the side, however, the Sneasel ran off with a yelp. "Bloody thief..." Remiel muttered, smoothing out the creases in his sleeve before turning back to face his Heatran once more.[break]

An OUTRAGED Krookodile emerged out from the cave that the curious Heatran had entered. It knocked the legendary beast backward with its furious charge, sending it crashing into the ground below. Having lost all of its climbing progress, however, the Heatran was not pleased one bit.[break][break]

Like a turtle that had mastered the art of righting itself back up again, the beast rocked itself until it was back on all fours. Just in time, in fact, to see the Krookodile burst out from the side of the mountain after a quick DIG. When Asphodel countered with a CRUNCH, however, and shook the crocodile around like a rag doll, the battle was immediately over.[break][break]

Impressed, Remiel pulled out an empty ball before walking over to the now unconscious crocodile and tapping said ball against its forehead.[break]
