Rowan had began a new hobby, photography. Eyes peered into the lens of his camera, a slightly out of date model but the most affordable one. Adjusting the focus and zooming in on the crystal clear waters of Sootpolis city, a snap confirmed that the photo was taken. Rowan smiled eagerly, looking at the photo he had just captured. "Aww man.. This photo is lacking compared to the real sight." He muttered with a sigh. He shoulda went with the pricier option, as this cameras lens lacked quality. Pouting his lips Rowan felt a little disappointed but it couldn't be helped. He only picked up on photography to take a break from writing.

Lowering the camera he turned to glance around the city. His eyes taking in the raw beauty of Sootpolis. "Hmm.. I wonder whos coming?" A quick glance at his watch read just fifteen minutes past twelve, and Rowan still didn't spot out anyone from the league. He requested that someone would tag along for his photography shenanigans, sure the league probably was busy with all the nonsense that was going around but Rowan figured it would be a nice way to take a break, a temporary escape from all the stress.

"I was hoping someone would show up but.. I'm not to sure now, Mist." He spoke to his espeon who had been basking in the sun nearby.

Dressed in a hip brown sweater, white dress shirt, tan pants, and polished loafers, Remiel descended from a pokemon center just up the hill with a camera hanging on a strap around his neck. Having been the second-party in this League-assigned partnership, the ambassador knew exactly who he was looking for.[break][break]

He proceeded towards the man calmly, a Rotom-Phone hovering over his right shoulder with a mischievous smile. When they finally stopped, the ghost-possessed phone snapped a few photos of the older gentleman without needing to be asked. It seemed far more eager than its seemingly indifferent master to embark on this assignment.[break][break]

"You must be Rowan Avery," The spectacled Galarian says, extending a single hand in greeting. "My name is Remiel Calcifet. I've been tasked with helping you take a few photographs of note, it would seem."[break]

Rowan continued to fidget around with his crappy camera, completely unaware of another person approaching until he heard their voice. Immediately spinning around to see who had been talking to him, it was the ambassador of Galar a pleasant surprise. Rowan knew who this man was very well, since Rowan was considerably knowledgeable when it came to politics. "That's me alright" looking at the extended hand, Rowan grasped it giving a firm shake before retracting it. "How Fun! I look forward to our little shenanigans." Nudging the ambassador on his shoulders, Rowan smiled in a rather cheesy fashion. Now noticing the rotom phone, his mouth had opened from the shock of seeing one. "Wow Rotom Phones! I've never seen one so close!" Blinking a few times when the rotom continued to snap photos of him, Rowan chuckled and striking a few poses that could be seen as odd and childish.

"Rotom sure are neat little guys!" Picking up Mist and holding him close to his chest, Rowan held up a peace sign with his free hand having a big goofy grin as the rotom snapped one last photo. Freeing Mist from his grasp Rowan's attention went back towards Remiel noting that the guy seemed to be quite stiff and serious. Rowan didn't really mind, but he was quite the opposite - a fun loving adventurous man. Stepping slightly closer to the ambassador, he wrapped his arm around his shoulder in a friendly manner while he turned his head a few times trying to pick out a good location.
"Lets see.. lets see.. Over there seems like a great spot! " Pointing out the hill that oversaw some of the city.

Rowan immediately reminded him of someone he knew. The nudge on his shoulder was taken indifferently because of the fact, and he regarded the young man's awe with a quirk of his brow as he examined his Rotom Phone. "I suppose they're somewhat uncommon. Not everyone cares to have a ghost pokemon inhabiting their phone."[break][break]

The man lifts up an Espeon for the last photo Teslet takes, and the Rotom Phone closes in to snap a close-up of its snout. Proudly, it breaks away from the pair afterwards and floats off to show Remiel a slideshow of his recent pictures. It is during this time that the ambassador is surprised to find Rowan's arm slung over his shoulder a few moments later.[break][break]

Again, used to this sort of thing thanks to angelo vestri, the stern-faced royal says nothing as he follows Rowan's finger to gaze at the hill afar. "Very well. Are you planning on taking a panoramic shot of the city?" He inquires, ready to start walking.[break]

“Right, they sure are interesting though.” Rowan grinned at the rotom phone as it snapped a picture of the espeon, the rotom seemed a lot more enthusiastic over this job compared to Remiel, not that Rowan cared at least - he was just happy to have some company. It was a little surprising to see that Remiel didn’t care much that Rowan had been a little over friendly, he seemed like the type of person who wasn’t good at social outings.

Retracting his arm that was slung around the other man’s neck he responded plainly, “yep that’s my plan - hopefully we’ll get some nice shots of the city and it’s wildlife” There was a quick pace in Rowan’s steps as he wanted to hurry, figuring that capturing a sunset photo would look stunning. “Hurry it up will you tho?” he remarked in a half joking manner, seeing how slow the royal walked

He figured Rowan was joking, as he hadn't even moved yet. But, walking forward at a perfectly decent pace afterwards, the royal said nothing of it. They had quite the uphill route to tread. It certainly would behoove them to get a move on.[break][break]

"Have you been here before? To Sootopolis, I mean." He inquired, ignoring his Rotom Phone as it followed them and continued to snap pictures. "If we're looking for teeming wildlife, we're better off diving beneath the water than scaling a hill."[break][break]

But the sight at the top was sure to be marvelous nonetheless, he thought.[break]
