If Razz was being honest with himself he wasn't sure if he could do what the other was asking of him. He wasn't a teacher, and outside academics his parents were very much sick or swim sort of teachers when it came to him learning and that's how he has adapted. In the end the ranger is sure he accepted mostly because he wanted the distraction. So he would reply to the other with a simple =Sure= via text as he got ready to leave. [break][break]

Thankfully he did have some quick flying pokemon that made the travel to the area simple enough. Once he sees the other he raies his arm with a slight wave of 'hello.' "So Z-move right?" he questions forever being the people person he was. "Just what is the problem?" he questions feeling he'll need details before he could just show her anything.

The ranger can't help but feel a bit bad as Yui is putting herself down for it being her fault for being unable to do it. He wasn't a master with it so he probably wasn't the best to ask all this. Yet he did agree to this so now all he could do is think about what he's read of it. "I highly doubt you're the only one at fault here," he attempts to reassure, his tone not entirely a comforting one, but thats more on his lack of social skills than actually judging her for her inability.

"When Whis here first used his I didn't even know what it was they did, took some research and questioning some more experienced than me to learn what it was," he explained a bit more with part of his own experience. "So I would say its also on the pokemon as it is the trainer, have you tried the dances?"

Razz just nods at the mention of the dances not commenting much on it as it seems she did her own research on it. “From my own experience I have noticed a difference, when Whis did it on his own he just took out a small a loveliness of ledian, however when I did the dance with him it felt like there was a bit of transfer of energy, and in the end helped take down the giant sized Ultra Beast that was after Mauville.” [break][break]

He explained thinking back to it, it seemed to even excite Whis a bit as they punched the air as if recalling the memory of how it happened as she stared at him. The cat seemed to tell about how it happened in their own words because why wouldn’t she understand him? That language barrier between humans and pokemon was still not 100% registering with the Zeraora since his trainer usually did a good job at understanding. [break][break]

“Yeah, that and they’re from ultra space is about what's most known of them,” he’d be lying to say he wasn’t enjoying trying to figure it out. At the question about the dance though he does step back as he tries to think of it. As he is performing it he does try to give any advice he could, “When I read up more about it, it's said to be done best when a pokemon’s and trainer’s hearts and minds are one,” as he completes the movement he gestures for Yui to try, “It’s not just a dance, it’s a synchronized set of movements that connect yourself and your pokemon [break][break]

Razz's shoulders went a bit stiff at that when asked about helping defend Mauville. He knows he received an endorsement from it, though he had hoped that would have gone ignored. Or most would be ignorant and not look into those things. He supposes he should've have expected someone was hungry for information as Yui. It wasn't a bad thing, he just didn't like the spotlight. "Uhh yeah Whis did a great job there, the Z-move was a big help in the end," he comments as he recalls the way the attack traveled up to the glass head. [break][break]

"The dance isn't magic, if it were doing the dance alone would activate it," at least from his observation. For now though he watches as she does it, and sees the energy between them before it dies down. He hums in thought as he ponders the possibilities. "Maybe you're over thinking the movements? Could be a possible distraction?" he comments as he walks around and takes a look at the Eevee as a possibility. "Or... and this is just a possibility, it could be your Eevee isn't ready?"

The ranger doesn’t know what to do or say to the other to make her feel better. Self-deprecating was more of something he did, not something he got others out of doing. Razz can’t help but look toward Salem for help on the situation but all the cat does seems to point to her in a ‘go to her’ fashion. [break][break]

Damn it go to her and what? For a moment he tries to think of what Salem would sign to him, or even think of what his own father would say just so he could say the opposite. As at the moment something felt better than nothing. “If it were as simple as getting them to eat something I’m sure a lot more people and pokemon would be capable of it, I’ve heard in Alola they need special crystals to actually channel the power,” he tries to start with logic, feeling it was something she would understand better as he walks toward her before plopping himself on the ground. “I’m not really sure how long you’ve been working on ‘being strong’ but there's always room for improvement…” he’s struggling but damn it if he’s not trying. Razz looks to Salem once more who seems to sign something. The ranger going quiet as the cat attempts something encouraging though Razz feels it might be cheesy. “You’re better than you were yesterday and all that, besides if you’re going into this thinking you can’t do it then how will you ever expect to?”

"Can't really promise you that would work, I know I read that those crystals are powered by Alola's Guardians so..." he trails off with a shrug and Salem just face palms. This was suppose to make her feel better, not worse! Weird facts weren't going to help with that. But then again he's a pokemon and she's human who knows what she would take from it. [break][break]

For now he is quiet as he allows Yui to think about it as he is pretty sure its her mental state. He sadly can't help her there though as for as complex as his mind was at times when it came to battles his mind went on a bit of automode. Don't think, just do. It what was trained into him since he was a kid. [break][break]

He does perk up with some curiosity though, "A mission?" though that perk is replace with pure confusion as apparently the mission was to have fun. Ummm... how do they do that? "Umm yeah, I'm all for trying to help you out of your depressive state, but uhh... what do you do for fun?" there was so much confusion in his voice there as the ranger wasn't one for hobbies or fun and such. He had routine, simple as that.

"I guess with a couple of the Tapus here they would have power," he comments but he isn't sure the guardians that choose FERNANDO SILPH and Zac Ramsay are actually from Alola. While rare some legends had multiple of them. In the end he decides not to hinder any hopes for her. "Could be, but might be fun trying to attain one?" it was suppose to be a challenge to get them from what he read about them. [break][break]

He tenses up a bit when asked about what he like to do. "I uhhh... don't?" the way he admits to this almost sounds as if he is guilty of something. "Guess I'm dull then," he shrugs at this, "As I don't really have hobbies, I wake go for a run or hike, head to work, go home feed my pokemon and attempt sleep for the day. Then on my days off, or days I don't have many jobs I either train my pokemon and make time for appointments like this," clearly his people skills are showing when he's referring to meet ups like this as 'appointments.'[break][break]

His meowstic gives an exasperated sigh in a 'tell me about it!' kind of way as he knows how boring his trainer is. Salem would look to Yui before patting her leg as if telling her to make his trainer do something.
