Damkina swims the earth freely as Remiel walks along the crater-riddled route. Pokémon cries from the bordering forest increase in frequency as the sun slowly begins to rise.

These calm, relaxing walks in the safari serve to melt the stress away for the ambassador. This will be the last for some while, he thinks. So he plans to enjoy it as much as he can.

After a long day of dancing with her clan, the Oricorio took flew off to go gather some berries for her mate. The manmade trail that acted as a border between one end of the forest and another was far too wide for her to fly over, however, especially when she was so tired. So she fluttered down onto the ground.

CHOMP !

A predator from the deep emerged from the earth and trapped her within its jaws. By the time its master came upon the scene, all that remained was a single pink feather.

The pony seems to innately sense that something is chasing it, despite the fact that it travels deep underground using sonar as its method of perception. There's a deadly feeling in the air. It knows it is one mistake from death.

When the Garchomp finally emerges, however, the Galarian Ponyta rides a FAIRY WIND into the sky, deterring the dragon from pursuing any further as she kicks off.

The Minior began smashing its own shell (SHELL SMASH) as a destructive trail of upended earth began to travel its way. Despite its boost of movement, however, it still didn't match Damkina's speed.

Before it could even hope to SELF-DESTRUCT, the dragon seized it with its claws upon emerging before diving back down into the earth below. Moments later, there was an explosion. When rock and dirt stopped flying from the sky, Remiel proceeded into the new crater to find the fainted Minior core. He tossed a ball at it.

A mouthful of slime and slug was the last thing on the menu that Damkina wanted. But that's exactly what she got when she erupted from the earth like the land shark she was and gobbled it up. When she realized exactly what the prey was, however, she quickly spat it out and hissed with disgust.

The slug made a resounding slap when it was launched from the dragon's mouth and hit a tree. Though half-eaten, the Shellos was still alive. It smiled dumbly as it gathered itself slowly, then crawled away without a care in the world as its body began to heal.

A Happiny was definitely a tasty morsel for the Garchomp to have. When it lunged out from the earth to capture it with her jaws, she was pleased.

Then it again, it was a baby. And, lately, Damkina had reached an age where she had discovered a disgusting soft spot for babies. So she sighed, and spat out the wriggling and confused Happiny on the ground. Remiel scooped it up shortly afterwards, then tapped an empty ball against its forehead. He'd seen the encounter. This was interesting.
