Jasper was bouncing the Pokeball for his new friend Dog in his left hand as he stepped into the cavernous max of Meteor Falls. He was somewhat nervous about going this far from home on his own, but he had to do it anyway. If he didn't push through Meteor Falls he couldn't get to Rustborough.

There was a cool wind pushing him further into the dark cave, revealing the gorgeous waterfall that spits a river through the cave. It was kinda awe-inspiring. The force of water split the mountain and created this cave millennia ago. If he wasn't planning to cut right through he would almost be tempted to explore the cave.

He walked up to the small bridge someone had built across the spring. It was fairly well lit so he wasn't spooked at first. That was until he heard a set of footsteps from the cave entrance behind him.

Melody had been walking around with Maksim, she recently managed to convince her mom to let her take the family dog with her for adventures. He was good ol reliable, when he wasn't being a brat randomly barking at other Pokémon and being a general nuisance. [break][break]

She had been walking with said dog Pokémon as it had been some time since she spent time with him so she had gone to take him for a walk, she figured it would be a good idea to go and take him to places he hadn't seen before so she took him to meteor falls since he liked to play in water! It was there that melody found an interesting person hanging around. Maksim immediately ran over to the trainer's fellow dog pokemon and initiated play time by lowering his front body and raising his butt while wagging his tail.

Jasper heard a short bark and turned to see his little buddy Ceaser sniffing and circling another dog pokemon, a Herdier. He looked up to see its owner just as the two started their little meet and greet. Jasper wasn't really worried about the dog or its trainer, Ceaser would have let him know if they were dangerous.

"Oh, hello!" He smiled and ruffled the back of his head. "I didn't see you sneaking up on me there." He held out his left hand towards the woman and kept the pleasant smile on his face. "My name is Jasper. I'm a local Officer over in Fallarbor."

Melody chased after her herdier, trying to catch up to the little bugger. God damn it she was gonna have to keep a tighter leash on that pokemon, he did whatever the heck he wanted. Lil brat! Melody found it endearing though as he somehow managed to charm whoever he met. [break][break]

Luckily the other dog Pokémon was pretty nice and played along with maksim! How lucky, however how unlucky for the duosion who seemed to be nearby as Melody's herdier ran over to the duosion too who got spooked but was too slow to run away. [break][break]

Melody took pity on the poor Pokémon and threw a pokeball at it to relieve it of the torturous herdier. Her attention turned back over to the other trainer who was also here "Hey there, sorry about my dog. Melody miro! New Gym leader of sootopolis!" as she introduced herself she extended her hand over to shake Jasper's hand, another cop huh? Maybe he knew @corbin ? Then again he worked in fallabor and corbin worked in sootopolis if she remembered correctly.
