[attr="class","beck"]a cloud of black SMOG resists the TAILWIND, defiant in the way it refuses to dissipate. theo narrows his eyes, sees the faint glow of orange and red, and decides it's enough.

it starts with a TOXIC, slow-crawling and unforgiving. out of instinct, magcargo attempts to RECOVER, but the effort ends in vain. crobat closes the distance, soaring forward as sharp fangs sink into magma-hot flesh for a CROSS POISON. crobat recoils, then flies back.

the poison-coated magcargo slithers forward. its FLAME BURST is reduced to nothing more than embers that barely burn. crobat readies another attack, but a pokeball saves the magcargo from a worse fate.
