Okay, so after taking on the mantle of travel columnist Adam had made up his mind to branch out more.

While he didn’t want to get tangled in the mess of politics that surrounded Hoenn as a whole, he was still more than happy to crank out a new column for Vantage at the interim boss’s Billi Marsh’s request because holy shit they had to keep the thing floating while Selena Desmarais was away on family-related business back in Kalos.

Kalos.

Oh, bloody hell their original boss was from Kalos!

Gah, at least there’s like, next to no rivalry between us… I hope, he thought as he arrived in Verdanturf.

Word on the street was that there was a place around these parts that catered to teaching self-defense, and as someone who was a licensed halberdier (at least back in Galar, that license meant jack shit in a place like Hoenn) he wanted to get some practice in.

Although admittedly, he missed fighting with his weapon of choice—which is why he’d made up his mind to make another column for Vantage—one that dealt with self-defense lessons and where to find the best place/s to learn from.

Now, where was he supposed to go?
