HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Xochi was in her element in the woods. She scouted ahead routinely to ensure the winding route was safe, keeping her head low as she processed every scent she came across. Despite the vicious nature most Houndour were believed to have, however, Sigmund didn't think Xochi would resort to violence at the drop of a dime. She was a sweetheart.

Regardless, he could feel the thousand eyes of all manner of Bug and Grass-type Pokémon lurking in the shadows of the woods and high above in the treetops. If one of these mysterious creatures spooked Xochi, he couldn't promise she wouldn't attack.

The shadows in Petalburg Woods are as thick as the canopy of leaves that create them. It is for this reason, Sigmund thinks, that a Cherrim they pass doesn't open up to greet them. Xochi dares to step close and take a sniff of it.

Thankfully, the gesture doesn't earn the Houndour a gust of STUN SPORE or anything of the like. So the pair moves on, leaving the hibernating Grass-type behind as they continue to look around. This place is sure to be full of greater dangers.

A SILVER WIND blew throughout, rustling the leaves in the woods as Sigmund's Houndour endured it. Pushing back against that howling wind, Xochi snarled and barked at the airborne bug. Her mouth blazed with flame as she did so.

With Sigmund having taken cover behind the trees, and prepared a pokéball to be thrown, the Houndour leaps towards the tree the moment the wind subsides. Bouncing off said tree, it manages to strike the Beautifly down with a FIRE FANG, sending it crashing into the ground with a heap.

Afterwards, Sigmund emerges out from behind his cover and tosses the pokéball in hand.
