Its late at night, and with the responsibilities of Lead Scientist he was the last in the labs. The only person there to keep him company was his son and his espurr sleeping on the couch he had installed as a place for his workers to rest if needed through the day. Pryde lean back in his chair in thought as he stared to the disfigured Zweilous that was in the tank before him. They had a presentation that needed to be done had ended up failing and now he was left wondering why. [break][break]

Thankfully it had worked, the pokemon did evolved but it's disfigurement made it's stability questionable. With his mind focused on work he isn't really expecting visitors. So when he hears the doors buzz open Pryde gives a quick glance back to see who would interrupt.

"Dr Merlino isn't here, try else where," because why else would the admin be there outside looking for his pet.

“Pleasure,” he simply repeats clearly not a fan of the other either. With the way Cillian Quinn keeps coming in and slow because of the admin’s ways things have to be adjusted and it’s annoying to deal with. At the mention of his son Pryde does check in his direction seeing the boy wiping his eyes from grogginess. Guess he wasn’t asleep as he thought, or he was just stirring from a nap. [break][break]

As it seems the other has no plans on leaving Pryde puts down his notes and spins his chair to give the admin his full attention now. “Then by all means ask him,”[break][break]

With tiredness still in his eyes Raziel is still processing what’s going on, but he perks up a bit when he sees Theo, ”Mr Beckett! Umm welcome,” seeing him clearly caught him off guard as he check his phone for the time, he grunts in some pain at the quick movement because while the medics pokemon were able to mend the broken arm, it was far from healed. ”Wait ask me what?”

As much as being in his own bed sounded nice right now he shakes it without hesitation, ”What? No that’s okay I’m fine here, I’m suppose to help dad if he needs help after all,” he replies to the other as if this were fact because he knows that’s his place. [break][break]

Now there is a hint of guilt there because he knows he’s suppose to be assigned to Theo tomorrow and he already got him hurt in their last mission. And now with his arm still in a brace he wasn’t sure how much help he would be for tomorrow. ”I-I know that, that’s why I was sleeping here on the couch, so I could rest when dad didn’t need it,” he explains though between his injury and stress he was an incredibly light sleeper thus why he woke again when he heard the door. [break][break]

”You heard him, he rather stay here,” Pryde chimes in as if coming to his boy’s rescue, ”Now why don’t you leave and let him rest, unless you’re actually here on private business?” it’s a subtle hint that he knows his son would miss. But it would give proper excuse to have the grunt leave them if this were meant for upper ears only. In which he feels Theo has a few.

Raziel looks unsure, a small hint he’s missed something but can’t pick it up so he looks to his father who nods but gestures for him to come. So he does, the boy returning his Espurr to his pokeball, ”Things will be find, it’s too far to travel on your own this late so you remember what to do right?” he questions his son as he strokes his hand through his hair in comfort to help relax the boy’s nerves. From there he releases his Shiny Female Pyroar to accompany him before handing him cash. Raziel gives a nod before hugging his father and leaving out the door with the Pyroar. [break][break]

Raphael seems to instantly change from caring father to annoyed head scientist the instant the door closes behind Raziel. ”Now what do you want Theo” he uses the first name because he knows the other isn’t here on business, and far from deserves his respect.
