He expects the other to lash out, Raphael knows he crossed a line, but he doesn't care. Unlike so many others Theo has broken Pryde is not his underling. They are technically equals in terms of rank and he isn't just going to take it. So the moment the other grabs his turtleneck he uses one arm to grab at that as he is slammed down. He uses his free arm to land on and protect his head. [break][break]

After he would shove himself off the table and launch himself at Theo for a punch to the face before attempting to use the arm he grabbed to throw him off.

[attr="class","beck"]satisfaction comes when he hears pryde's head bouncing off the table — only to find out that he had defended himself. he doesn't expect retaliation so the punch catches him off guard, squaring him across the jaw, and it's enough for him to be thrown after.

he smacks against the wall, head almost bouncing off it, and he feels the wind knocked out of him. he takes a quick breath, then lunges forward with a kick to pryde's knee.

As Theo recovers Raphael puts his hands up, clearly ready. He attempts to step back to avoid the kick, but he ends up off balance instead and comes falling down when it comes. He grunts as he lands but would attempt to grab at the other's leg and twist to bring Theo down with him.

The kick lands and its enough to make him let go of the other. He is bleeding from the nose now, but Raphael is relentless as he would keep going to try and get on top of Theo before the other could get up before attempting to give an open palm punch at his left shoulder. [break][break]

Raziel was very through in his report back to him.

[attr="class","beck"]he's too weak and dazed to shake pryde off. with added weight now on him, it feels too reminiscent of the bar incident. the open palm strike connects cleanly and it causes his muscles to seize up in pain.

unable to react much, he struggles and attempts to push pryde off with his weak right hand.

Pryde just grips the others arm tightly as he makes sure to keep on the other. While he would keep his other arm on Theo's shoulder for now but he doesn't press. Either a sign of mercy, or a threat that he is looming over the other and causing him pain or lack there of was his choice. [break][break]

"Still going to question me in how I raise my son Theo? Because the way I see it, right now I'm the one with the strength to protect him, not you," he'll squeeze the other's shoulder a tad as if to prove a point.
