"Well, you're more than welcome to make your hands full wherever you want," Summer said, smiling and biting her lower lip at him. She wanted to see how riled up she could make him, what she could do to get him to snap.

Unless he had already snapped.

Then Casey had the urge to tease her. "You make me speechless sometimes," she admitted, acting shy and reserved for a moment. Of course that wouldn't last long, as she trailed her hands over his back and then up again to touch his skin.

When he came flush against her, Summer couldn't help the selfish smile on her face as he kissed her, threading her fingers through his hair.

"Show me what you can do to me, Casey," she murmured against his lips.

"Well, Mr. Maverick, you're sorely mistaken, because that was not my intention with you at all," Summer shot back defiantly, offering a cocky smirk to him. "Part of it was, however you were going to stay with me tonight. Why would I kick you to the couch when I could sleep peacefully next to you?"

But, of course, she enjoyed their wrestling match quite a bit. Especially since she felt like they were in no rush, no hurry to be back in their spots like they had been before.

All the time in the world...

Summer couldn't help but try to squirm away from him as he tickled her side, giving him a look. "Are you telling me to work out right now?"

She lifted her head up, feeling her muscles in her stomach tighten for a moment as she tried to kiss him again. But he went for her neck again, leaving her to fall back against the bed with a small gasp.

Of course, she held his head close to her neck, feeling the bruise come into being. She loved it.

"Casey..." Summer's voice almost sounded like a warning.

Summer couldn't help a wicked look on her face as she tried to feign some sort of innocence. "I don't know how you got that idea," she teased, shifting her hips beneath him to test out what she could do to potentially regain some control.

Maybe she'd just wait for the right moment.

His hands landed on the bare skin under the hoodie she wore, on her hips. At his whisper, she found it right to slide her hands down to his shoulders...

And push.

With that, Summer tried to roll him onto his back, sitting over him again. She planted her hands on his chest to steady herself for a moment before reaching for the bottom of the hoodie and pulling it over her head.

Abandoned on the floor.

"I am starting to get a little bit desperate, though," she said as she leaned forward, marking his neck like he had just done to her. "You make me feel alive."

She gave her hips a small shimmy, laughing to herself.

With all of his teasing, all of his prodding blurring her mind, Summer finally broke out of the restraints that her mind had placed her in and took what she wanted.

As Casey demanded her to.

It was his encouragement that gave her the ability to do so, since he appeared to be driven by a force that wanted to see her do this to him. Be domineering, a powerful woman.

But give him love at the same time.

When she was done, Summer opted to roll back on her back, taking a moment to catch her breath as she closed her eyes. Her hand fumbled on the sheets beside her, trying to reach for his. When she found it, she held onto it, opening her eyes again and looking over at Casey.

"Stay with me. Please."

Perhaps she was afraid this was actually all a dream. That when she woke up, he wouldn't be there. But, she wanted his warmth beside her all throughout the night, in case she woke up terrified and screaming of another nightmare.

Maybe he'd get rid of them.

Summer felt the bed shift as he rolled over, and she followed his guided movements onto her side as well. A comforted sigh escaped her lips as she felt his body align against her own, holding her close.

With the blankets over her and his arm tucked over her, she felt like she could truly rest. Be at peace.

"Good night," she said over her shoulder sleepily, scooting as close as she could be against him before falling asleep.

And, it seemed for once, she didn't wake up with the fear of having to kill her brother or have her father hunt down the people she loved. Because when she opened her eyes, sunlight was filtering into the room.

Summer was not used to sleeping throughout the night anymore.

As she shifted, she grunted, turning to lay on her back. A smile coming to rest on her face.

Summer looked over at Casey as he shifted in the bed, unable to hide the giddy look on her face. She could get used to waking up beside him, seeing his sleeping face come back to life as he woke up again.

His voice sent a child down her spine, goosebumps raising on her skin.

"Very, with you here," she said, her voice a bit lower than normal given it was her first time using it that day. "I hope you were able to stay comfortable last night. Your arm isn't numb?" she asked with a bit of concern.

Summer pondered her options for a moment before turning even more, so she was sliding her arm across his chest and leaning her own chest against his as she raised her head.

"Coffee can wait just a while longer, can't it? I want to enjoy this morning time sleepiness with you for a little bit longer." She smiled, giving him a small kiss while playing with a strand of his hair.

Summer couldn't help the laugh that slipped from her lips at his comment, shaking her head. "You wouldn't care what happened to you if I did it, would you?" she prompted, all teasingly.

She would never hurt him. "I could never hurt you, though."

The way Casey said her name was something she wanted more of, whether it was now, later, or forever. Maybe all three. She moved so she was over him, actually able to kiss him properly.

"What? Am I doing something bad?" Summer asked, feigning innocence.

"All I want to do is enjoy my morning with my beau..." A smirk crossed her lips, kissing his jaw in the process.
