in retrospect, he should have gotten someone else to do this. he had better things to do than going round looking through trash for-- his thoughts halt for a moment, hope flickering as he comes across an item that strikes recognition and...no, unlucky again.

marcel can't hold back his sigh. "any luck?" he calls over to his pokemon, whose efforts have come to fruit as much as his own.

bloody league, the least they could do is make his job a little easier.

he registers the loud crash from behind him as a sound from one of his own pokemon. "careful, vega," he says as he turns around, "we don't want you--"

for a moment, he's stunned. his noivern that reacts first, blasting a dragon pulse at the foe pokemon with a screech.

the sharp sound brings him back, and marcel's brow furrows as he decides what to do next. a nidoking, huh? seems like he'd be a good addition to the team. he nods to vega, ready to attack should the capture go wrong, and throws a pokeball.
