It was the fourth date for him. So far nothing for the romance aspect...but it was what it was. He got business card...and that was about the most of it. Kee had hoped for something a bit more...but maybe that was asking too much of this little event. The blonde sat down at the next table, which didn't have his fourth date yet. Houndoom walked over and sat down, patiently waiting as well, though he did yawn. "Don't worry, boy, one more after this one, and then we can go to the park and play tag with everyone. How does that sound?" The black dog woofed in approval. So now he waited. Looking over, he tried to find his brother in the crowd. Seemed like he lost the tyke in all the moving. Oh well, that's why they had cell phones...

Kee turned to find an above average looking man close by, but approaching, apologizing about being late. Sitting down, he introduced himself to Kee with a smile as bright as ever. It...kind of made the guy look like a Houndour or Growlithe or other similar Pokemon. The younger blonde suddenly wanted to pet him and tell Cian he was a good boy. Snapping out of the stupor, he decided to laugh and introduce himself. "I'm Keenan Toral. Pleasure's mine, I'm sure." The barely legal adult leaned forward with interest. "I'm just a traveler, and trying to do the gym circuit and finding out what I want to do for the rest of my life. What about you? What do you do?" Or possibly want to do. After this event...was Kee's mind heading towards the gutter?

Keenan perked up at the thought of the Minor League. They'd be good testing grounds for his other challenges, at least. Cian seemed to be a man of few words, even if he was bubbly and puppy-like. "That sounds like a good idea. I think I will, after my gym challenge with Greyson Connors. That one is coming up pretty soon. Are you guys usually busy?" Trying to get a gym challenge to the normal ones were atrociously difficult. Any time he found an opening, it would be filled before he even started the application. It was wearing him down. But he had to be patient. He had something to prove! Hopefully the Minor League wasn't as busy. Besides, he only had a brief stint in Rustboro, after Derek Hoffman escorted him there after he had gotten lost and his phone died...

That was news to him. Then again, he usually didn't keep up with that. He'd check and research every few days...long enough for it to be old news any more. Although... "I went with a non-traditional challenge...his traditional challenges are not as traditional as I would expect, and none of my Pokemon are suited to be a "civilian" in need of protecting. Still, I'll do my best! I already have a team lined up for the challenge!" Even if a few of them he barely spent any time with. But hopefully he had a good balance between utility and battling. Thankfully, they weren't very busy, or if they were, not overly so. "That's good to hear! It's been a pain to get in for a gym challenge. I'll be there! And you may see this guy in action too..." May not be the smartest decision to let someone know one of the Pokemon you'll be using against them, but Keenan was proud of his Houndoom. Who gave Cian a confident, wolf-ish grin. And with that, the bell rang.
