as much as marcel liked to reassure himself with the importance of his job, it was undeniable some of the tasks he got sent on seemed to prove otherwise. his pokemon all stood by a wall of rock, looking back on him for an order. he checks his tablet for the image of the missing pokemon, quickly marking out any identifying features.

with a long sigh, he signals to his team with a wave of his hand, before they all attack the mountain in hopes of drawing out the pokemon.

he feels something brush against his leg before he looks down to find the lizard at his feet. he frowns. this is not the right pokemon.

marcel tries to push the salazzle way with his foot, carefully as to not kick it. his company seems to be having none of it, however, and simply dodges before circling in an eight motion around his legs. he tries again, to no avail, and this repeats itself another time before marcel finally admits defeat.

"guess you're going to be sticking round, huh?"

crouching down, he pulls out a pokeball and gently taps it against the pokemon's head.
