It’s time for a change so things don’t get really repetitive!

Okay, so, here’s the thing: Mars has encountered Unown in Mt. Pyre and he has also encountered Unown in Mt. Chimney, so Symbol Pokémon may just be really big fans of mountains. Can’t blame them, right?

But there was also that one time when he and Remiel Calcifet went to Route 116 with a Rocket researcher who was trying to find a way to track Unown, and back then, despite all their lack of faith in the researcher’s skills, they had actually found one!

Maybe it had been heading toward Rusturf Tunnel? Maybe they like caves too? Who knows, but considering that Father Winter had wanted to meet people at Granite Cave, it’s entirely possible.

Whatever the case, trying to find another Unown in the same area is worth the shot, so here he is, at Route 116.

Most pokémon Mars encounters when hunting for Unown out in the wilderness are potentially harmless; they won’t disturb him and as long as he doesn’t disturb them. Some, however, can be territorial, and others can just be cantankerous for the sole sake of being cantankerous.

Which category does the Delphox up ahead fall into?

No clue, but considering it’s shooting some MYSTICAL FIRE his way, Mars doesn’t pause to figure it out.

A shame, but in Mars’ opinion, it had been worth the try.

A change of pace, switching things up, keeping it interesting, all of that… It sure beat yet another trip to Mt. Pyre, right?

Then again, he’ll probably find himself back on Mt. Pyre once next week comes, but that’s an issue for Future Mars. Mauville Hills is his destination for now.
